Agree with you here, it wasn't a bigger monthly bonus at all. Based on my gameplay history, it was same as I used to get before. The house edge of the game acted like 35% for me after the bonus. I have lost the bonus instantly with long red streak, then I lost some deposits too without being able to wager anything good. Yeah that's a common story.
Many people recently reported losing their host after not wagering "enough" over a certain period of time. That's all they want, wager and losses. Once you don't have value for them anymore, even though you wagered millions in the past, they drop you like a hot potato.

Is your last reload for 30 days? I heard several times people got a last 30 day reload, but it was small anyway. And if you wager like 50k again you might get your host back. If you are only platinum 1 or 2 though, don't expect to get him/her back. With my other account I had a host from platinum 1, after the account got limited because of winning and my wager dropped I lost my host as well. He said the same thing, can get him back once wager gets higher.
1 year later I asked if I can still get him back if I wager more and was told, "nope, only when you reach platinum 4" . So he basically lied to me, great.

Sorry to hear that, I'm a bit luckier than you as I have not lose my VIP host after the new rules as I can keep it until I reached Plat 4.
The new rule was implemented when I was Platinum 2 and maybe half to go to Platinum 3 IIRC.
I think once there are many more players ranked up to Platinum 4 but at the same time they do not hire more VIP hosts, it is possible that there might be another update in the future, from Plat 4 to Platinum 5 or even Diamond in order to get or to keep VIP Host.
If it will happen, I may lose my VIP host as well if the new rule is updated especially if the minimum rank to have VIP host is Diamond.

You can potential losing (VIP-Host) same as me, after your gameplay activity wagering is decreased. Keep grinding for collect wagering to keep your VIP-host, for my case (I only play on weekends right now).

The only problem the more rank you have, I believe the more higher is your minimum wagger (but we don't know the exact number).

I feel sorry for you, there is nothing you can do now. Just accept their bad decision. Don't be surprised if you start receiving less than $50 from the upcoming monthly bonus. Maybe Stake team is disappointed with you as you have recently turned $10 weekly bonus into $980

I dont wager as what you think as I play normally but regularly and I dont force to chase new rank except when it is getting closer to the new rank 
If the rule is upgraded to Plat 6 or Diamond, I will lose my VIP host for sure as I believe I wont be able to reach Diamond level even Platinum 6.
FYI, I reached Platinum 4 after being a player for 6 years, while the requirement to be Plat 6 (from plat 4) is equal to 3x amount from zero to Plat 4.
Mathematically I will need another 18 years in order to reach Platinum 6 LOL, so I wont imagine for Diamond.

Cant remember where , but I think I've read it somewhere around stake, the possibility of losing VIP host, it was stated what and what could possibly lead to losing your VIP host though I cant remember all the stuff stated in the article, or guide rather.
Anyways, sorry for the bad news bud, but you should have already known that there is the possibility of losing your VIP host if your activity drops on the casino, there was an amount of wager you reached before a VIP host was assigned to you, I think its common sense to know that to keep your VIP host, you have to maintain that wager amount every week or monthly depending on what is written in the agreement.
Anyways, i am glad you were told you can get your VIP host back, so its up to you now, I've never had a VIP host so I don't know how important it is to have one, so if its that important to you, then get your activity up again and your VIP host will be on his or her way back to you.
