Wait a minute, so the idea of this project is really good and all. But I am yet to read your whitepaper, but while I haven’t yet, let me ask this right on the bat. If this is a Decentralized Cloud Gaming, then the servers for this technology will be coming from different PCs from ordinary households around the world? No huge warehouses, no secret server location, but to simple PCs of ordinary people? Is that correct? Then if so, is it really feasible? I mean, what if many of them shut down their PC’s all at once for some reason, like sleeping or something. Also, for next generation gaming, there should be a huge supply of fast computing power. Will the ordinary laptops or PCs will be able to supply that demand?

Cheesy You should better read the whitepaper!
Servers will be rigs for gpu mining. Instead of using there rigs for mining they can now use it as Game servers and make more profit Smiley. No ordinary computers or laptops

If the gaming pc owners want to earn money, they won't shut it down during the night :-) The proof that mining works is shown in all kind of crypto currencies. People just go where the money is, means if Playkey can ensure that people with their gaming pcs can earn enough money, all is good.
But of course there are still a lot of questions open. I am curious to see, how this whole thing works out in the end. I won't certainly invest in the ICO. MAYBE later ... but at the moment I am just watching.

Tomorrow Egor Gurjev, CEO of Playkey, is speaking at Coinagenda Global - the bitcoin investor's conference in Las Vegas http://coinagenda.com. - We'll present our project to the potential investors.

You still can join - the pre-order will last until 25 October. Get up to 35% of additional Playkey tokens by making a deposit of 60ETH and more. Visit our website to find out details https://playkey.io

Subscribe to our channel https://t.me/playkey_io

Great to hear that you advertise your project on events all over the world. I hope you can make some agreements with potential investors in Las Vegas.

The 60 ETH is a bit to much for me, will have to wait for the public ICO.

nice to hear that the ceo is running around and marketing the whole product on fairs Smiley

but yes, 60eth is waaaaay to much for an normal low cap investor like most of us are ><" i want the bonus of 35% too but not for 60eth T_T

Congratulations to the Devs for that further step towards the project's victory, they are certainly committed to that. The project becomes more inclusive every day to new users, investing, very good for us, and for an increase towards the hard cap

You are right, ordinary household rigs are less reliable than dedicated servers. But Playkey thought of that:

Special SLA (service level agreements) requirements will be developed for miners to ensure that they provide an outstanding level of gaming quality to the user. The SLA will include the minimum requirements for hardware, broadband channel bandwidth, and uptime.

In order words you will be financially punished if your rig shuts down unexpectedly.

I hope that it will be profitable for miners all around the globe because if all miners are too far away the ping will be too high.

It's a pitty that I don't have the required 15mbit. I hope I will get faster internet soon. Would be also interested in how high the ping is.

I feel the pain, without even mention all the money i spent on hardware to kepp the machine up to date to run the latest games  Embarrassed
Oh sure. It may be a good idea to buy your own gaming pc, but after you remember how fast we get new technologies PlayKey seems good way to solve the problem.

Yes playkey will offer a chance to everyone with a decent internet connection to play at the game they want even with a bad computer. It’s really a nice project with big benefit to do.

Good to see passionate and ambitious people in the team. It's a shame that you didn't introduce most of the team in the article though...

That makes sense, SLA's need to be setup if you get payed for providing a service.
Although most of those mining rigs are pretty good configured so they have minimal downtime. So it should be ok. 👌
