Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ?

I can not be sure that bitcoin can survive in the next 100 years. Because at this time altcoin also has great potential in shifting the dominance of bitcoin in the world of cryptocurency. I'm also not sure whether the internet will survive the next 100 years or even everything is destroyed. Only God knows.

i think people get tired from the bank's financial system and bitcoin present a long term hope that's why i think it will survive after 100 years and more .

I really hope not. Unless something drastically changes with it one of the alts must surely take over. So many good teams out there with wide adoption and better infrastructure.

If bitcoin makes it to 2020 as still the market leader I'd be suprised and hopefully it's not Ripple. I bloody hate that coin also

time will give answer. we hope bitcoin will survive more than hundred of years.it depends on many thing how long the bitcoin will survive.in economics there is a saying 'in the long run we are all dead'.so it doesn't matter to me how long bitcoin will survive.one thing about bitcoin  that matters to me is profit and the stability of bitcoin.

I'm not too certain about that. Nothing lasts forever. But I'm sure of bitcoin having a greater future. It has a great vision, and I do not see it wane anytime soon.

Bitcoin is not even 10 years old now. To think about whether it will exist 100 years is waste of time in my opinion. The developments in the crypto world are always fast and innovative. Perhaps there will soon be a new development that will replace the crypto currencies as we know today. In 2006 no one would have thought that there could be a decentralized currency without central banks or central maintainers. One must think the impossible.

good point mate.its too early to talk about 100 years whats important
now is we must do everything to to make our funds grow,we dont need 100 years
 for that.it will only take couple of years to make our lif functional in this forum .

100years? I think bitcoin could not reach that, 100years is long tO pass. But we dont know if bitcoin will continue its existence even after 75years or 50years only. But i believe in bitcoin it will last long because of its popularity.

I think that the more realistic question we should be asking is that if humanity would still be ealive in a 100 years. Because of all the threats if war and the ravage if the environment there is a high chance that we wont even last than longg.

Based on what I've been seeing nowadays, I can say that bitcoin has the potential to stay and be part of our living since the strength and power it is showing right now is far away from our expectations. What technology lasts a 100 years? In particular in times likes this, where technological development moves at light speed. Bitcoin will be long gone in a 100 years, but it very well might change the world and will then be replaced by something better.
