I have had the same problem for a while. I am not fully sure what the cause could be be suddenly the 401 error will be gone and everything will work. Just give it a moment, it looks like BTCChina approves each API by hand or something like that. I have requested additional info because i suspected questions, but i have not received the details. But like, i said, just give it a try again and suddenly it works for no reason.

Something else... once you get BTCChina going you will notice something very strange. The sell prices and buy prices are looking to be upside down. But this is true, just go the exchange and you will see the same numbers. It is likely to be caused by the 0% fee costs. What you can expect is that trading works normally, it has no impact on the software itself. I have taken some huge profits last night at BTCChina, i love it! I recommend it!

I was planning on mcxNow but i can not get there API working. Beside maybve adding MtGox i am not yet planning on adding other exchanges. We will now begin to focus on expanding the indicators and trading capabilities. I am working on more advanced settings and 2 more indicators right now. Thats planned for the next release. And... hopefully i can finally add the multi-language support.

Minor bug in BTCChina addition:
If there are still incomplete open orders, the "Show Open Orders" window displays this fact, but the "Open Orders" button displays in GREEN (this is wrong) and the Logbook->Trade-bot signals window is not displaying the correct data either (orders are open, but "Are there no open orders" is checked). 

I checked my BTCChina Orders list as well, and the order is still only partially complete.

Additionally:
I suspect (not certain) that when this happens (if an order is not filled all in one go), that the debug log says "x coins sold for a price of 0 and ... bought for ", even though it should give the correct sold price.  Haven't recorded what happens if a buy order is not completed in one go.

I've confirmed my API public/private key works by using a PHP Class (https://gist.github.com/mkraemer/7483878 (I forked it for use with PHP pre 5.4)). I'm able to use getAccountData successfully.

I haven't deposited anything into my account yet, so I'll be happy to supply my public/private key for testing and then later revoke the key.

Please let me know what action to take so I can get the trading working on BTCChina!

BTC China keys is not working for me too, same error. I don't think it has something to do with activation because I did generate it two days ago.

The verification said it didn't work, but I just let it run, and it's trading fine...

I'm not sure this is accurate. I got the API to work with PHP. The only thing not working is the bot.

I'll continue to be patient but I believe there might be another issue at play here.

I added 2-factor authentication on my BTCChina account encase that was the solution... didn't help the haas bot.

I would like to report a issue and a couple suggestions:

- The graphic and indicators stop drawing at some point. I don't know exactly why it happens but it usually stops between 2500-3500 updates for me... It continues to trade fine, though.

- As reported before, when adding a indicator it starts drawing from the current update but placed at 0, causing it to differ visually from the graphic. My suggestion would be to fully redraw the new indicator with the whole previous data like in the benchmark function, and then continue in real time. It should be relatively simple to do and would allow a much more clearer understanding of how the newly added indicator would work.

- I also miss the opportunity to change the indicator settings from within the Benchmarking function. I believe some fields there, for example if you have MACD-MA selected to have 3 editable fields to change the values and see the changes in realtime would be golden. Right now it's quite annoying to add indicator, see benchmark, go back, delete indicator, readd, relauch benchmark and so over.

great progress on the bot.

I find it hard to correlate changes with the indicator as the charts do not line up.  Any chance we can have a overlay function or at least sync the Currency chart with the indicators (above and below).  Would be helpful.  :-)

Yes true, at 2500 updates the bot will begin to refresh itself. I have done this to reduce memory usage. The refresh will not impact the trading, that will just continue. It is a temporary solution, i am working on something better.

The other 2 points are on my whishlist already.

I am trying to make a chart which will show all the data at once. Including the MA lines.

Polling the API is not the problem, but reading the wallet and sending trade commands is the problem. I have waited almost 20-hours to be able to do this. I still have no answer why i (or the users of my software) can not get connected directly. It should be no problem.

With the code that i am using to talk to BTCChina is nothing wrong, it works. I am using the same version (v0.9.0.4) and the bot has ran sinds the release

The 401 error message is really related to BTCChina.

I'm wondering if it has something to do with IP range filters by countries/world zones.
This is sometimes done to mitigate network DDOS attacks..
