Haasonline Simple Trade Bot For BTCe and Bitstamp[Main topic]

Cryptsy is still DOA for me.

And same for me - trades loged by haasbot as completed never hit Cryptsy at all. F*ck this..

My problem is different. I cannot get cryptsy to connect at all since updating. The api tokens are refused.

It was same for me, I have to completely delete and reset APIs (both on Cryptsy and BTCe which I use and on both sides - exchanges and haasbot) to get it to work, try it and You´ll be fine. Oh sorry, You wont - more pain in the ass is awaiting You.. After six hours of studying logs and try to find out whats wrong my partially working bots have dissapeared and haas crashed with this cute little error:

BTW: That same happens when I switch to wallet overview in web interface - same errors as above and in accurate stats are sucked from some cache site correctly. API reports to be connected, but it may be cached as well. I am half sleeping, so no time to clear cache and restart everything.

EDIT: My final conclusion - Haas can connect to Cryptsy, read wallets stats (and maybe even place orders), but can´t read any actual prices. Its strange, because according to a log print screen on my first post in this page Haas was able to read prices..

EDIT:  Prices started working at 1:56 CDT.  Cryptsy apparently doesn't like to be polled every minute.  It does however get prices every 5 minutes it seems.

EDIT EDIT: The above isn't true. Cryptsy gives prices when it feels like it.  There is no set interval as to when it works or doesn't.  But it does seem to be updating every few minutes.

Special thanks to the people above here for the responces. I am glad to see everybody keeps everybody posted here (and in a fair way!).

This are really the last steps that i am unable to solve from the software side. There are now 3 methods to read the prices and there are 2 ways implemented to progress and monitor the orders. I have got no other API thats has so many backup methods to do its work. This is really the limit of what i am able to do, the rest is up to to the API of Crytspy itself just to answer correctly.

I have had contact with Cryptsy to discus this situation and Cryptsy have told me this is related to a overload of the API.

Based on the random problems (price reading, order progressing and tracking) and the answer of Cryptsy i can only confirm. This what we see is a result of a instable or overloaded server.

Is NOT related to Cryptsy, this is a error caused by Bitstamp. At the release i already notified we monitor this message at this moment. First i thought this was caused by the update, but all versions have this message. Secondly i thought it was just an small error at the API of Bitstamp but is seems to be staying. This is last one is what i needed to know for sure, if it stayes or not. (It could have be caused by a DDOS too) Because this is clear now i can make changes to the software to work-around this protocol error. Despite the error itself there is nothing to worry about. I will make and push a small update to solve this one.


A general usage tip:
If you backtest or if you auto-tune, do not forget to press the "Clear statistics" button. This will get rid of all the data in the trade-bot. After all, during real time usage you do not want to see/continue on the simulated data.

You have to tick all permisions on BEFORE clicking on "generate" and after You generate new API key, You have to click on small "activate" button on right side (next to delete).

Automatic cancel open orders after xx minutes, and also BOT must revert state about fees and trade info. Every day i'm stuck on open orders and blocked amounts.

I don't know, as said, some orders are open and need to be fulfilled, but trades take place.
Now since last night no trades occurred again and I really guess it a problem with cryptsy itself. I just don't touch my bot no more and let it do what it does when it decides to trade, and when the bot trades it gives results like posted  . I know it really suck when there is a no working API connection. We have to keep complaining to BigVern and let him know when there are issues. Cryptsy responds to requests very fast.

Today I have to admit I was resetting the last buy/sell price because I updated the bot... I want to see what id does and it does since nothing. So I wait.   

Unfortunately I will not try other exchanges since I have there a different bot running and that one is working well. BTCe got their API issues fixed and there are timely up to 1200 bots connected.

I'm having problems with the sell at double fee cost and only sell higher than buy price. It's not selling when it should with either of these settings enabled. This is on comparison to the same backtest without either of these settings enabled. I can provide screenshots if this makes it clearer. Thanks

i try added crpytsy API key, and get me  "Something went wrong. Exception message: "
Now i cannot set any API for btce, cex.io, everything is blocked by this message. Also Tradebot edit did not work.

So some Cryptsy API issue on Cryptsy side, but problem is that crpytsy problem block whole tradeserver others apis.

Anyone have working connection on Cex.IO? I can not connect. I have tried multiple times.

You have to tick all permisions on BEFORE clicking on "generate" and after You generate new API key, You have to click on small "activate" button on right side (next to delete).

I did all that. Still doeas not work.
