Can someone help me ? I think some of you guys has same problem. Giant x10 is running - after few days It disconnects from internet and start blinking. Also sometimes I cant acces to web settings. Someone know how to fix this ?
The same problem. Always another machine out of eight. No solution to the problem yet. Reset the power to it to restart it i can't understand how nicehash can reward so much on quark I'm guessing it's from people speculating on some quark-based coin. I think I have an idea which one... They are paying to mine ALQO.

The same problem. Always another machine out of eight. No solution to the problem yet. Sometimes i have this problem too. So i did buy a WLAN-Socket for each miner. With those i can turn on and off the power of the miners via Smartphone App and restart the miner from anywhere. I also make an automatic restart once a day. Can you tell me more about it or maybe send picture ? WLAN-Socket you mean smart plug ? How can I setup automatic restart once a day ? Thanks a lot ! I cant send you PM I dont know where you are from. I am using the following plug in germany. Sorry i called it socket, it seems plug is the right word. http://www.tp-link.com/de/products/details/cat-5258_HS110.htmlThere is a US version too. As i said, i have no idea where you are from: http://www.tp-link.com/us/products/details/cat-5516_HS110.htmlAfter setting up the plug, you can switch it on and off with an app on your smartphone. You can also set times when it will switch on and off automatically. So my plugs switch off one time in the night and on again one minute later.

.. Does anyone know if the Baikal can be hacked to mine even more algorithms? I don't know how they do their asics, but they seem multifunctional. Yes, I have googled it. I need someone that is more techsaavy.
.. these are not ASICs by the way but FGPA. Guys, which FPGA device have been used in Baikal miner exactly? Lets determine the part number and then decide how to update firmware (if it is possible at all). I somewhat in doubt in the idea that Baikal really uses FPGA, because of technical characteristics . But who knows.

Baikal miners use an FPGA, what makes you think they could run two algo's simultaneously?
Hello everybody. What kind of the FPGA is used in Baikal's Giant products? I have built some FPGA miners that became obsolete after release of the Giant X10. But if Baikal Giant is not true ASIC, it becomes possible to develop alternative FPGA miners for altcoins, as well as to write custom bitstreams. I'm looking for this too. Actually, perhaps someone can post some high quality photos of the boards, then we can try figure this out. I doubt they will have part numbers b/c they will stop us from doing this, but it's worth a try! Would someone mind posting some close-up pics? if there's already some, plz link

Its a bit tricky to provide a photo of them.

Ah, dangit. And you don't want to ruin it either... Though any close-up photos should be useful still... the circuitry might give clues to what the components need to work, and hence narrow the search.

I'd love to get one, but they're a bit out of my league still. I love my Giant+ and A900. Maybe after enough time has passed I'll be able to grab an X10 off ebay for somewhere near 2500. Otherwise it's going to take awhile to get up to the point of being able to get in on a group buy with prices where they're at now. It'd be great if I just had the cash on hand to buy 6. I could sell 3 or 4 and break even with the prices where they're at. Someday.
