I personally refuse if Bitcoin is said to be a gamble .. maybe that's thought of some people .. because as long as I follow Bitcoin .. I invest it not I bet where I have to deal with the computer .. I'm afraid to do that .. my purpose here get profit is not loss or personal lust ..

The definition of gambling is taking a risky action to gain a huge profit.But bitcoin is not risky at all.Bitcoin's history proves how much profitable and valuable it is.So,bitcoin is not gambling.

I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.

Bitcoin is not gambling because it is not a game with a set of rules that is totally reliant on luck with only minimal skills, though with those you can succeed in your investment ventures in bitcoins but that doesn't mean you will be able to make the most of it or even avoid scams and potential risks to your investments. Bitcoin is more like as a business than gambling, in bitcoin you put your trust to it by investing money because of the data and the legit information and that supports investors.

I think it all depends on how much you know about bitcoin.
Just investing money without any knowledge, only with the hope that the value increases, that would come very close to gambling.
But when you know what bitcoin is about, a little bit about the technology behind it and the community that exists around it, then you have good reasons to believe that the value will increase.
Then it's not gambling, then the estimation of an increasing bitcoin price is the result of researche.

You can't say its gambling or not.  Sometimes its depends, Like you invest some your money after that if you convert it into some crypto currencies like btc or ETH then you can say its a gambling.You're aware about the fact that the price will be increase but it can decrease also you takes the risk by investing.

When you invest real money into somewhere and then it gives you BTC, then such kind of activity may be called as gambling, but not the currency itself.

I to agree with you because many people are using Bitcoin for gambling. So it makes them to feel that Bitcoin is gambling but I never felt Bitcoin is currency where very soon you can use it to buy all resources you want with Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is not a gambling because it is not an addiction to just a kind of work. I treat it as a hobby, and at the same time work. Thanks to that I am happy in what I do and feel confident in it.

Exactly Bitcoin will not make you an addict as long as you do not love the technology of Bitcoin. But, do you love the value of Bitcoin ? Example if you love the value of Bitcoin and when it increases the price, do you want to make more money through trading Bitcoin? And there are a lot of people are addicted "trading" Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is controlled and influenced by different forces. it is a currency not gambling. This currency is traded around the world, the entire world cannot be fooled. Economists and world analyst has come to agree with the currency and the good part is because it cannot be manipulated.

You would be surprised how many people think that bitcoin is gambling, scam, fraud or some kind of scheme that can't work for long time. World is not yet ready to accept bitcoin, but don't worry, in couple of years everyone will realize that bitcoin isn't just a fraud, and then everyone will start to use it.
There are still too many people who are born before internet and all new technology era and to be honest I know many people who doesn't know how to turn on PC, so yeah, for them bitcoin is gambling because they don't understand it.

Yes. absolutely bitcoin is not gambling because it is a virtual currency or electronics money but it can be used to bet in every gambling and it is all up to every holder what he wants to do to his/her bitcoin. But looking to other side if you believe that the things which is have an unpredictable result then it will sometimes be consider as you gamble.
