connected to stratum.mining.eligius.st with diff 128 with stratum

am I using GBT or stratum?

 Huh

used "no-stratum" option to get to gbt.

By default the pool redirects to stratum when connecting to gbt host/port.

I run it for a while but it looks like gbt drops my hash rates to a crawl.  Not sure why,  Switched back to stratum.

Lots of orders received and being processed for the Eligius-branded USB miners.  Large inventory is expected this Thursday/Friday and coordinated shipping chaos  commences on arrival...

BTW, I do test these units for against DOA using one of the addresses of the pool (not cool to pocket btc from testing).  So far there have been a few units that didn't pass the test, so it has saved some of you the headache of replacement.

I brand and test up to 49 units with one hub.

Thanks!!
P.S. will post more updates as we get closer to Thursday/Friday.

News post on eligius.st

Copy:

Greetings Eligius Miners!

First, I've gotten the interface for the new user control panel to a presentable form.  You may access it here: My Eligius.

As of right now, none of the settings will take affect, but they will be stored.  I will be completing the backend support for all of the options during the week and should have everything done by the weekend.

Also, you will notice the entry for a namecoin address.  Namecoin merged mining has returned to Eligius, and miners will be paid approximately 105% straight-PPS for namecoins.  Note that you will have to register your namecoin address in the new control panel even if you had previously registered one with Luke-Jr's original system.

I will post more details as I complete backend support.  I will be starting with completion of the namecoin payment support first thing tomorrow when I get home.

Just a quick update!

Thanks for mining with us!

Thanks wizkid.  Setting the initial diff for different workers would be very beneficial if one wants to run multiple workers on the same payment address.

I've tried it yesterday, but my second worker (when the first worker was running at diff 128) kept going back and forth between 1-128 diff, creating a lot of havoc.  Individual workers were stable, chugging along at 128 diff, but as soon as I added an additional worker, problems started, creating lots of stales, drops in hash rates etc.

I've sent you PM with details.

Luke-Jr is standing for election to the board of the Bitcoin Foundation. If you like what he's contributed to Bitcoin so far and agree with his vision for Bitcoin "as a legal and widely utilized, decentralized replacement for fiat currencies", then:

I  added my nickname and changed the minimum payout about 36 hours ago and haven't seen the changes take effect.  I'm not complaining just wanted to point it out.

Hello everyone. Please check your Eligius stats info now. In [Eligius Pool Statistics] --> [My User Stats Page],  Unpaid Balance / Shelved Shares / Hashrate Average / Weighted Shares do not update any more.  What's the issue ?

Shares are still being accepted. So most likely everything  is fine. Wizkid057  has a bunch of failsafes in place to counter attacks. It is a very reliable pool.
