It is currently complicated to sustain a platform in a business model that is not used for partner advertising, I am not sure how Sphere will make sense, but I do not see any problems if even after decentralization of this segment they continue to provide space for partners

You should double check everything you are doing while participating in an ico.

Even in telegram groups people pretend to be admins and tries to scam people using pm's with saying that "special discounts can be available send xx eth or btc to ... address" so beware any of this.

I  think many people use an ad blocker. It's not that difficult you just have to download an extension. But the best is to use a script-blocker like uMatrix.

Sometimes its hard to be so thorough when pre sale or ICO is sold out in meter of minutes and you really need to be fast on order to not miss the sale. Thats why you need to prepare yourself beforehand and know your steps.
