Nickwen's logo with the font that hazyryder used would be perfect. Very sleek and professional looking.

only for fun

Nicely done! Maybe try a different font for the subtext, but really slick! Great job.

Was I helpful or insightful?  Feel free to say thanks! 1PuoasR1dYtNq9yYNJj9NreDAfLEzc3Vpe

Try Gill Sans light for the sub text, with one variant in all caps and another as you currently have it. Maybe bump the line up just a bit so it is closer to the VMC, to reduce a bit of white space.

Decent effort, I'll fix the line thicknesses and kerning in a bit. If it's actually going to end up being used I'll redo it as a vector if you guys want.

I think VMC in small cap looks much softer

Something about the logo works better in the one i qouted. It's a bit closer to the VMC or slightly bigger.

This is great work. Very professional and an ENORMOUS improvement over the current logo. Well done. Hope Ken adopts this (and you give it to him free or for very little cost).

I too believe that this is the logo VMC should be using. It's very clean, light and memorable. Lightyears ahead of the current logo.

If i recall, ffs69 relaid Ken's message that new logo is not a priority at the moment and you guys are wasting your time.
Regardless, all those proposed logos look like every other logo out there. Same "box" on the left, thin/fat, 3 boring letters, small text under that...  This will not do the trick. Sorry.
If your job requires you to take business cards, I bet you have seen similar cards before.

Only one that stands out is Ytterbium 2D logo ( https://i.imgur.com/Uq58vyI.jpg). But this one has a problems too and right in the middle of it - "m" It just looks wrong, distorted and not in a good way. It whacks the whole thing out of balance.
Logo has to work in 2 colour B&W (fax, copy), small size, large size and even in 3D.

BTW, why are we talking about it in this thread?  Roll Eyes

While reading what I wrote, use the most friendliest and relaxing voice in your head.

Judging past events, this logo is most likely to get Ken's approval
