People are obviously in panic or just sick of this silent treatment. Ken, it's time to pull your head out of your ass and start talking. Why? The price is dropping. Big deal. People screamed for an eASIC press release, and Ken and Co. delivered. If you are ready to jump, then there is the door. Do I want to see people abandon ship at this point in the game? No. That being said, I think it would be incredibly stupid for people to continue dumping. ActM has delivered much more evidence of what they have in the pipelines compared to the other guys. Just be patient, and wait for November, or don't. Nobody cares. |

I agree whole heartedly. The only reason I worked up the few examples I did was so we would have a few "free: options on the table. If the only reason Ken is not going for this one, is because he doesn't want to pay lewicky for it, I'd like us to have an alternative.
He didn't have to pay and it was nothing to do with it. Lewicki paid for the logo, that was the only paid part of it. |

I threw $80 at Fivver.com for some various Logo Designs.
Will post them up here once I get them back, I ordered quick turnarounds for them so will likely have some to show within 24-48hours.
If one looks good I'll just hand it over to Ken for free.
You are well aware that Ken has not made any indication that he is willing to change the logo, yes? There is a high probability that he's going to keep is retro "Terminator 2" logo. If he does, I'm merely out of a couple hours of spare time. You'll be out $80. Please do not take it upon yourselves to throw your personal money at this company, unless it is in the form of investing. Just by two bits. I really need to remind all of you - Ken does not want a new logo or a new website. It's nothing to do with money. |

Just as it was his decision to liquidate AMC and form ActM. Still, it is without question that the current VMC logo is ugly and dated and the site would benefit from a face lift. I really do not understand this mindset that we can get to the aesthetics after we launch. How many tech companies do you know of that begins their marketing and design process after the launch of a product? The answer to that is none. I'm sorry, but the groundwork needs to be laid beforehand. Is a logo change going to do shit for the near term share price? Fuck no. Will it possibly instill a little more confidence into end users (non-investors) who see the current logo and think that it looks incredibly unprofessional, and represents a company that does not take itself seriously. Point being, you can dress up and market the hell out of a shitty product and sell tons. On the same token, you can have an amazing product with little to no marketing presence, and go bankrupt. Combine the best of both, and you have the winning combination of Great Product + Great Marketing. |
