I have ordered the Avalon chip, and have request refunding. BUT the order status still changed to "prepare-shipping"! WTF? They are trying to ship a bunch of useless stone to my house and keep my precious Bitcoin?
what's your order date?

Hi Yifu Please Do Not Ship Order #10129 - It was made by JohnK as Escrow for ragingazn628's group buy. The group has now voted in majority for a refund, but John K is currently not around (in the process of moving or otherwise ), (nor is ragingazn628, although he would not be in front of refund as JohnK made the order as escrow) the refund hasn't been formally submitted, as you can see in the thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=177994.1640Thank you

I simply reject that reality and expect communication for people who have placed orders that are worth over 80,000 USD. They have every right not remain "calm" in fact they have a right to be very upset.

Surely they have right to be upset, but we saw also that things are moving now. I agree totally with the past months strong complaints, but not now when he is silent only for a couple of days and ppl got refounded (some, at least) Out of curiosity, how much more time are you willing to give?
not months for sure

not months for sure 2 days can turn into 2 months. He sort of burned the trust bridge along time ago. He keeps making the same error. FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE. That is not acceptable.

When Ngzhang started to sell his Batch #3 in China, a Chinese buyer want to visit him and sign a contract on paper. However, Ngzhang refused. They hide their ass, refuse to communicate and respond. I think that's why the buyer started to look for their parents. Their parents may have the access to contact them.

I can understand frustration, but going after someone's parents in order to track down someone seems well over the line. I'd prefer that people who make promises either deliver or explain why they can't in a meaningful time frame and to the satisfaction of their customers. Warning signs that he wouldn't sign anything right? Guess we have take serious notes on that and the current inability to communicate and shop elsewhere. Makes perfect sense not to trust these people ever again. The only way at this point to change that opinion is to change their pattern and communicate effectively and provide refunds immediately to all that ask. Let us see how they resolve the remaining issues. There is some positive progress but until there is a complete resolution to all grievances this company can not be trusted.

It's actually a cultural thing. If you can't get obligations fulfilled by a child, you speak with their parents. I'm ex law enforcement, and I am talking with FBI white collar division friends about what has been taking place. I know Bitsyncom has a US address, and contacts here. We'll see what can be found out as to the true destination of the original chips that were ordered. So far it's looking almost like a ponzi scam variant. If they are interested in what comes up, they may take further action.

He sells a time sensitive product, and delaying them for 2 month, steal most of the value of the product from his customer.

A full member PMed me this: so he might have us believe....
If any of you had been through such a scary scenario, would you be at all comfortable handing out private information of your buyers to god-knows-who in a weak attempt to negate responsibility of your own errors?
we have all lost considerably due to pure dishonesty, arrogance & incompetence.(mostly dishonesty)
all except the 2 that are hopefully wallowing in the 'chi' that they deserve. (where i am, chi means piss)
IME, anything to do with china/chinese is toxic in 1 way or another. i am disgusted (but not in the least surprised) with the lack of integrity, not to mention delays on everything and little to no explanation other than 'someone else' is at fault...

China / Chinese not really the only people on this planet cornering the market on toxicity, crime and all around unethical business practices given the BFL example we can plainly see humanity in any cultural form is rife with inexcusable behavior. My experience doesn't extend to every Chinese person nor every American or European or African etc. If there is plain evidence of wrong doing from these "businessmen" let us see how well they get on with the FBI or local authorities in China. Given what we have seen paying everyone back is a lot further along continuum than what BFL has wrought but both companies are woefully inadequate models for good corporate governance. Steer clear of both.

I, for one, am absolutely in awe of China/The Chinese for how they've jumped all over building Bitcoin technologies ahead of most other countries. Xenophobia like that really has no place in these forums IMO, and credit should be given where it's due. Being a bad apple with low integrity and lacking scruples can happen to any individual, irrespective of race or color.
