at the moment of writing, another 130k chips have gone out, and will proceed to ship more as we get them. ( and no, they are not samples.)
Yifu, one of your team member is selling the chips on the private market, are you aware of that? Do you have any explanation why can someone can buy chips with 30% premium at late June and got the chips at early July? This is no fucking rumors, anyone is interested please PM ccmbc, he is one of the private buyers can buy from your team member. The whole "open source" community around the Avalon chips were ruined, including the infamous ASICME and yourself. IF you can ship on time or do something to compensate the loss caused by the delay, things will be much easier. When I got the private offer back in the late June, I give no fucking shit about it. I just trust Avalon will ship on time. Now you are late, and the private offer arrived on time. It is very likely that the private seller will hit the 10th Sep promise again. I ordered your chips in the first week, and you are late nearly 2 month now! |

So typical for preorder based model, Avalon should not make delivery time promise, but instead best case scenario for delivery. |

At first I was really a believer, then I faced the evidence and now the shithole is full of their "asics on time, business done right".
Too late I figured that out, the real meaning of their slogan.

I chose not to do business with BFL due to their history. And now after this Avalon/BitSyncom debacle, there is no way I will support them anymore. To all that is aware, I suggest you do the same. These companies will come to us for our money, let's not feed the greed machines. |

Isnt that strange, that nearly one month later when the first batches or lets say chips where shipped, a scond one with nearly the same amount of chips gets shipped ?
Looks more like someone did something totally wrong or want it to be this way.
So that means the next chips with ~ 130k chips will be sent next month and every month so on till all orders are delivered. Looks like there are no chips at customs at all.

Yifu ignored phone calls, messages, etc. The mafia was involved or whatever the story, but yet he logged in again and again leaving no messages. His actions have guilt written all over them.
I'll apologize if I'm in err, but the writing is on the wall regarding his inaction.

Well, we can use our own funds if need be. And perhaps others throwing in their suggestions would assist here. The thing is, do they want to dig a deeper hole? I mean they aren't going to say, "Sign this paper stating no legal action and then we will give you your money back." That is almost admitting guilt. If anything like that happens, we need to "reach a settlement". A punitive one. But I'd rather involve a lawyers. Can't believe I just said that... I'm in this small time but feel bad for the people who put lots of money in. Something should be done and I worry that if people just settle for refunds it gives the message of "It's ok to fuck the customer". After all the worst that happens is they give us back all that money and keep the highest bidders money. It is like the 1 billion dollar fine levied against Wachovia or HSBC for hundreds of billions in drug laundering... They must be thinking "Sign me up..." |

What a great thought! I've faced nearly overwhelming adversity in my life. And it faced it with dignity and courage, if I do say so myself. Yet I still get mad if a Christmas present I ordered arrives too late, or if someone cheats me out a couple grand worth of bitcoin hardware. It's nothing compared to what I've already faced, but yet I get angry. It's funny how people are...
