900BTC ≃ 100K USD.

800K GB chips @ 0.0782 BTC/u. @ 115 USD/BTC = 6.9 million USD. => THIS is where the hurt is coming from.

he says here:
http://www.avalon-asics.com/

That he is processing refunds.

Why are the Group buy people asking for refunds?

(sorry if this is a stupid question)

Starting to wonder if the creator of Bitcoin made a typo.  The "i" is right next to the "o".  Maybe the second "i" wasn't suppose to be there.

If you are looking to explain this issue to a litigator, then he'll want to see a few things up front:

1) what are the terms of that governed the transaction?
2) what is the timeline of the parties' statements and representations (who did/said what when)?
3) how many orders were placed and who placed them?
4) what was the cost of each order and the total orders?
5) what orders were/were not shipped?

This information isn't always available, of course.  Nonetheless, a class action suit needs a few informed, passionate lead plaintiffs to communicate information like this to their lawyer, whomever that may be.

Marco Santori is a lawyer, but not your lawyer, and this is not legal advice.  If you do have specific questions, though, please don't hesitate to PM me.  We've learned this forum isn't 100% secure, so you might prefer to email me.  Maybe I can help!  Depending upon your jurisdiction, this post might be construed as attorney advertising, so: attorney advertising Smiley

Thank you for your statement Marco. Would you be interested in an employment about this issue? What/how much would you need to get this going?

Yifu is communicating now as much as he did during the Batch #2 fulfillment period.  This cannot be a surprise.  These chips are late, but so was Batch #1 and Batch #2.  This knowledge was in front of you when you made the purchase.  Tell me what answer you will give to the judge when he says "Isn't that curious.  Tell me why you thought he would ship on time this time?"

Dude, they pre-mined the crap out of Batch #2. That's why there was no communication as they delayed as much as possible.

They mined until the units turned up covered internally with dust and preconfigured to pools. Way beyond that of 'testing'. It was so noticeable, that they had to halt sending the dust coated pre-configured pre-mined silver units and re-start Batch #2 shipping, sending out fresh black ones that were intended for Batch #3 orders.

Hence the obscene delay in Batch #3.

C'mon man, be fair, this behaviour is inexcusable.

I want to believe this wasn't the case, but look at the evidence. At this point ignoring the subject will not help.

We only have limited info about all the batches in queue (see spreadsheet), so we don't have a way knowing.
Since OP two of the customers received shipping info (limited info), and only zefir got his batch #2.
There was no reply from Big Time Coin, but I asked on open forum and not by PM.

Edit: PM sent to Big Time Coin

Which highlights how dumb the feedback system is, as on my screen it shows the following, which gives no indication that this is someone to avoid, or that lots of negative feedback has been left.

Wow! I never actually pushed the Rating button. What's wrong with that? Why is it still 0?

I think it only shows red when other people in your own 'trust network' have marked negative feedback... there also seems to be a built in default trust list, and I would assume if any of those members posted negative feedback, it would show up for everyone.... not entirely sure though.

If you have a direct order with Avalon via DHL and want to check to see if your chips have shipped, call DHL at 1 (800) 225-5345  and give them your name and address and ask if there are any shipments on route in your name. Works like a charm

So a random person can call and ask when i get a package? How easy. Stay before a house and wait for the postman then. Is done and works. But that they give the info to random persons, who claim to be a certain one, doesnt sound smart.

is there any evidence that the chips were actually sold to a higher bidder? or are people just running rampant with speculation?

No evidence. Only a shitload of avalon asic chips in boxes 2 months ago. Theres no explaination why such a mass of chips existed and why they arent in the buyers hand.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.
