Also we are now 3 days from the end of November, and we are already meant to have the prototype chips.

I think we can assume eASIC have screwed up if we have no solid news soon.

oh for FUD sake, what calendar are you on?
last I looked it is still October.

In regards to 2FA, I'd always recommend to anybody who asks to use the application Authy, it's available for both Android and iOS.

The main reason I first started using it was due to the fact it securely backs up your tokens from device to device as long as you retain the same telephone number.

Ok... so say we pick up a few additional shares before transferring... how do we know at what point did Ken take a copy of the asset list to confirm the shares transferred to his account align with our public address on the asset list?

When we make a transfer how does Ken align that transfer with our public address? Or does the act of transferring give him that information?

yeah, I just did this  Undecided

So I don't think my extra shares are updated in the public asset list?

But I sent a PM to Ken asking if this would be a problem. I hope not.

Yep. Super easy with this guide: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=310639.0 (basically set up VPN and clear cache and cookies then log in to bitfunder). Hop on it now if you want more shares.

But don't you need to be verified to have residence outside of the USA to buy shares?

As far as I know you can still buy shares until 1st November if you are not verified and resident outside the US.

Can anyone inform me if Ken has officially announced what to do with our shares on bitfunder?

I know he has an exchange in the works but with the looming Nov 1 deadline I need to get my bitfunder shares out ASAP!

Posts from Ken: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1707;sa=showPosts

Thanks, tendered to AMC-TENDER - feels very worrisome but I trust ken.

Are there any other precautions I should take.  I have set up my bitfunder with a bitcoin address that I control and can sign from.

EDIT:  And just to be absolutely sure, is this the address that is important?

yes that's the one. that address shows on this public list: https://bitfunder.com/assetlist, prior to tendering your shares

EDIT:
I also PM'd Ken the transfer timestamp, my public bitcoin address and number of shares…

Yes, everyone should have a public bitcoin address that they can sign.

Also keep a full screenshot showing your bitfunder username, and the transfer transaction of the transfer to AMC-TENDER.

This is your proof of the number of shares transferred.

We may need you to send a message from that public bitcoin address with the details of your transfer at a future time.

Please don't PM your transfer information.

ARG! I didn't keep a screenshot of the transfer.... I do know how many shares I had and transferred both times though.

DERP. Disregard that, just noticed I still have the screen showing the transfers. Saving now.

You guys are really overthinking the share transfers. Just send them to the AMC-TENDER account as instructed... no need to take screenshots or anything. If you need that information later you can get it from the Transactions page on Bitfunder. It's not like BF is going to wipe out your account data just because you didn't get verified.

We may have to verify the address first.

From my understanding, it looks like dividends will be accumulated and paid-out on November 6th to the Public Bitcoin address provided to Bitfunder. We will have to include the specific details of the transfer (why Ken recommended a screenshot) when signing.

Edit: Adding quote

Yes, everyone should have a public bitcoin address that they can sign.

Also keep a full screenshot showing your bitfunder username, and the transfer transaction of the transfer to AMC-TENDER.

Transfer complete. Feeling a bit nervous about it.

My transfer from AMC to ActiveMining went smoothly, so I don't doubt Ken's ability to sort out shares.

I think hes talking about the fact that shares are being sent back to the company and that theres a chance that the company could just take off with them...I have this same concern and I havent sent shares for the same reason (although I trust ken to follow through on his promise)

This is not the first time people have had to tender their shares back to the company.

But this time there is no timeline as to when or where we are getting them. The last two times we transferred shares we knew we were getting them back in our control in a few days. Now we have no chance to sell and we are throwing them into the dark abyss of Activemining. Ive been involved with this company since July and everything up to this point was cool with me...I would even be down to have my shares transferred to cryptostocks even though theres no liquidity just so I have control over my own shares

That's correct. I have several thousand shares so Im nervous that
1) I transferred correctly
2) Ken will be able to verify them as mine
3) The pissy value of the shares will recover to their former glory
4) We can get some *actual* mining happening paying dividends

Transfer complete. Feeling a bit nervous about it.

Don't be nervous sweetie, it's monopoly money

Monopoly money I can handle. Being called "sweetie" by VE? Now I should be worried!  Tongue
