Do you guys think the community is willing to make a fund raiser of 0.5BTC to be listed at YObit exchange.
here's how it works over there:
To add a new coin to Yobit please you need to fill out the form below. Payment method: YobiCode Listing type: • Free - 0.00 btc - no guarantee • Premium - 0.1 btc - 2 business day • Exclusive - 0.5 btc - 1 business day + mail alert to all users
-
0.5btc is very good to help the coin getting known to new users.
we need to help our selves and fix the big hole cryptsy left.

I think getting on Poloniex would be better.
maybe but going on yobit first is not a bad idea I think for low volume coins it is actually a detriment to be on too many exchanges as it just spreads that low volume around which makes the volume at one exchange look even worse. Yobit is not any improvement over Cryptopia so I think that 0.5BTC would be wasted.

Each exchange caters to a different demographic and Language , For example : Cryptopia is more favorable to English Speakers, Where as Yobit is more favorable to Native Russian & Chinese Speakers. Basically you are selling a product (HBN) , sticking with only 1 exchange (Even Thru Cryptopia is a Great Exchange) , is like only selling your product on only 1 side of a street and ignoring the other side. You sell on Both Sides and Double your Customer Base. IMO, go with the .1 BTC not the .5 BTC and just make sure to post the exchange update to coinmarketcap and update the OP. Plus you always want more than 1 exchange, for the times when the wallets need maintenance.

I'd say not many unless you have a trade volume high enough to end up somewhere in the top ten of the traded pairs on that exchange. That's why I don't think It will help much. Better keep all trading focused. (And make it to the second best traded pair today on Cryptopia)

Yobit seems to be the 'Go To' place for coins at the moment. No point looking at Trex or Polo. Yobit seems to have alot of active members so the extra exposure could not hurt.

polo is THE EXCHANGE for altcoins EU/NA, but the volume needs to hold up. I could utilize my bots on Polo, but can't promise a volume higher than a few btc monthly
or we could utilize the funds to port hbn blockchain to a more developed client, since the current client freezers my pc on regular basis all in all we need two things - more exposure and more user friendliness, which means exchanges and code my two cents

Problem of Hobonickels is it is a one man show - Tranz. I suggested to make something like hobonickels foundation which will push hbn to be more visible on very competetive cryptomarket - but no response to that . Until it stays like that hbn price, volume etc will only detoriate more and more ..
what such foundation should do :
-gather some coins from members and fans to pay: - website - paid articles on crypto servers - pay to get to prime markets - think of reshape and maybe rebrand the coin - I know this point might be controversial. - pay for developement of services - propagate within crypto friendly merchants - something else which did not come to my mind yet..
I very much like the rebrand of the coin. Hobonickels while nostalgic, doesn't say much about the coin nor does it give off a great sense of value when you hear it. Darkcoin changing to Dash, dogecoindark changing to verge, etc are all good rebrands. They at least bumped up their trading volume and price quite significantly.

Client performance and this bloated chain are horrible. +1 I know 2 Buddys of mine that dumped HBN just because of the terrible performance. imo a new client and a swap would very helpful indeed. LETS MAKE THE SHOPPING CARD GOLDEN AGAIN:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cboh9UHqMso

On Yobit, Natural Russian & Chinese Speakers that have not learned english very well, so they prefer an exchange in their native language. More exchange means more people see the coin, so more chance they also buy some HBN decreasing the available supply of HBN on the exchanges, thereby raising the price of the remaining coins by making them more scarce. Higher Price means higher market cap, Higher Market Cap means more attention from serious investors and traders.

LETS MAKE THE SHOPPING CARD GOLDEN AGAIN:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cboh9UHqMsoWhen I first got into HBN it was because of the insanely fast transactions. Now VCash (Vanillacoin) and DASH both have so called instant transactions. And VCash offers the library for staking coins which are a fork of Peercoin, indirectly HBN. I wonder how difficult it would be to implement VCash's staking system here, because it is super light on resources. Anyway, looks like we need the fund to hire a mercenary programmer https://github.com/john-connor/coinpp

Question for Tranz, I was looking at the peer list and saw the term sync node and noticed only 1 IP had yes beside sync node and the other peers all said no. Does this mean that my PC is only receiving sync data from that 1 IP address and none of the others? Thanks.
