Been trying to get my bitcoin wallet syn'd from start. It has been 5 days and numerous problems. Hopefully it finishes. But still estimates 2+ days....

If you haven't synched a bitcoin wallet for a while, you are in for a little surprise.

Getting closer, 6 hours left. Has taken about 3 days so far.

btc or hbn?

btc blockchain is well over 100 gb and growing fast. If you pay for bandwidth better to park your car outside starbucks or a hotel for a few days

Finally got back to the dev server. Took me about 20 mins but I remember how to compile! 

Put in leveldb 1.19 and testing that out right now. Seems good so far.

I'm back from the dead too. Walked away after Cryptsy took all my other coins and we lost a good trading spot.

Hadn't sync'd my wallet until April. Just turned it on yesterday and it's been sitting at "Syncing with network 3 minutes"..

Then I tried sending some coins to cryptopia and I got an error saying the coins were already spent.

Do I need to repair wallet? or delete the block chain and let it redownload?

So my wallet is acting like I've sent coins(but receiving wallet doesn't get them), won't get fully sync'd, and has a different balance than the block explorer...

Did the coin fork or something?

There are no forks that I know of. I have done a few syncs recently. One from 2 years ago, no issues. And now I am trying a full one. The full one has had one issue. Going form 2y 250d to 23mins instantly at one point. I knew it wasn't correct, so I restarted and it picked back up correctly, and is moving on.

Have you tried to restart the wallet?

Check your peer list and make sure the peers have the correct number of blocks, perhaps you are on another coin that is similar?

Using that sync from HCLivess can save sometime as well.

If you do get up to correct block and still not right balance, then you can restart with the -rescan, or more harsh-zapwallettxes. Be patient, it will take time!

Downloaded the sync from HC and it's up to date and staking... but the blance is 139k not 201k.
Going to try the rescan command now
