Hello, I have a question and I did read through posts here.

Since the website didn’t reward FUN token holders for their premium benefits, I only waited my locked FUN token to be matured. It was matured and added correct amount including interests was added to my account. I then withdrew the FUN token but have not gotten any email or the fund.
I saw that selling the token and withdrawing BTC is working but I can’t even do that at this point.
I emailed or sent message via website but no replies.
It has been two days.
Im hopeless, but wanted to see if anything could help the situation.

You have nothing to do now except waiting for them to start processing the FUN token withdrawals. You can keep your eyes on the FUN token hot wallet address of Freebitco. They had processed the last FUN token withdrawal 19 days ago. Perhaps, a part of Freebitco team is on vacation for Christmas and New Year celebration. I guess they will start processing the withdrawals after the 10th January of 2025.

If everything was really on autopilot, I think everything would collapse very quickly and it wouldn't last this long. It seems logical to me that the owner decided to get out of the business after about 10 years, but it turned out the way it did.

If that is the case then I hope the buyer would introduce themselves here, tell us about their vision for the next 10years and how they plan to resolve any ongoing issues.

Specially what will be the fate of the FUN token and its economics. These have been a source of frustration for the investors few of whom are already here on this forum apart from many others who never visit this forum.

At present, I have withdrawn my BTC investment on the site, but I can help not keep both eyes on their progress.

No, they haven't sold all the FUN tokens of the users. FUN token cold wallet address of Freebitco still has more than 3.3 billion tokens in it (check here). They are occasionally transferring FUN tokens from their cold storage wallet to their hot wallet address in order to process the users FUN token withdrawal. Currently, there are 25 million FUN tokens on their hot wallet address (check here). For some unknown reasons, they haven't processed any FUN withdrawal since last two weeks.

That is a relief that the team or owners haven't sold any of their tokens yet.
Once they do, then you know the project is over.

no it's not a deserted platform, they are still opening new sport betting markets and paying winnings of bets once they are settled.

Placed a bet yesterday on Serie A and it got paid out just when I logged in, so that part of the site still works.
But of course this is on autopilot as the match was over 17 hours ago and only settled when I logged in to show it was settled and winnings were paid. This seems to be automated.

Mine just unlocked on the 28th yesterday and received the matured amount of tokens.
Bought 6815 then locked them a year ago and received the 7315 tokens after matured.
They are in the wallet and can sell them for bitcoin if I want to. Will not be withdrawing them to an external wallet from the difficulties many are stating they are having once they initiated the process.

If there was any intention for the possible new owner to do that, it would have already happened. If I am right with my assumption, then the whole essence of the secret sale was that everyone thinks that nothing has really changed - in other words, if someone bought the business, they wanted to buy the reputation as well.

Be that as it may, I think it is unrealistic to expect that this service will exist in 10 years - let alone that someone has plans that go that far in advance.

Maybe that part is automated, requiring no human intervention? Many sport betting sites do it, so i would assume they do it as well. I mean, after 10 years of existence, you'd think they'd make it easier for them, especially since the high traffic of the website.

Do you have any news about this or is it just your assumption? Why would the original team of freebitco would want to sell the business that is giving them a lot of revenue? Unless the freebitco owners have a very valid reason, they should not be selling this site. And also the person/team who bought this business must have paid a huge amount, how can they just let go this business without getting the return on their investments

Their wallets used to be visible on OXT.ME and a few other services. However, these services were taken down when samurai wallet was taken down.

I've tried to look into the address from which my BTC withdrawal came, but seems they use a router or some sort of service, and i didn't have too much time to dig into it deep.
However, if you want, i can paste the TXID for someone to dig deeper

their hot wallet is different from your personal address. It also a different generation of address. Their newest hot wallet is at least a seg wit address..

None of us have any idea about the current Bitcoin cold wallet address of Freebitco team. However, Freebitco team had kept BTC (also some ETH) on their FUN token cold wallet address. It was on ERC20 network. The amount was worth $114 million during that time (six months ago). They had taken out the funds from that address on the next month, and now we don't have any idea about their cold wallet address for Bitcoin.

BTW, we have noticed that Freebitco team is gathering the small deposited funds of the users in a single wallet address, then they are using that funds to process the withdrawal of the users nowadays.

No body in their right senses or frame of mind will spend a lot of money on something he or she can't run, and cant also get/hire professionals to run it for him or her, it makes no sense logically, believing that if indeed freebitco was sold, the buyer would have paid really heavy for it, money isn't easy to come by and people this days are very careful in choosing where they invest in order not to invest wrongly.

I initially suggested that the site might be running on autopilot, and so far, considering the current state of the site, I still might go with that assumption, though I think someone usually do come around from time to time to fix a few things and then go away again..

While you might be right, this is just speculation. Communication has never been their strong point although it was a lot better when TheQuin was still working for them as he was pretty responsive on this forum when there were issues/complaints. The site might have changed ownership and maybe in the background they are working on fixing the issues, but we can only guess at this point.

It could be that this new owner is not able to handle the site very well and so we are seeing all these delays and issues.

Back read few pages on this thread. You will notice multiple issue about delay withdrawal and WoF rewards distribution. It seems that you are new in the forum and never aware that Freebitco.in reputation is already not that great with their current situation.

No man will set up a business as big as freebitco and run it alone, even if he's a developer, he can't develop or write every single code on his own, it's not only tiring but exhausting, and writing code does not require doing it under any form of pressure of fatigue, as doing this may result in alot of errors that could turn out very dangerous for the platform.

So, what I am saying is that, if the real owner(s) of the platform is not feeling well, there must be other people around who have contributed, and maybe still contributing to the development of that platform, this people can run the platform at its uptimum level making sure users do not experience all of this issues we are experiencing at the moment.

Well, all this is nothing but speculations, we can never know, until someone (an insider) comes on to tell us all what exactly is going on, or what has gone wrong.

If your withdrawal is flagged to be reviews manually, it no longer matters you requested an instant withdrawal or a slow withdrawal.
You have to wait and there's nothing else you can do.

Back read few pages on this thread. You will notice multiple issue about delay withdrawal and WoF rewards distribution. It seems that you are new in the forum and never aware that Freebitco.in reputation is already not that great with their current situation.

There are many issues going on with freebitco, but as far as I know, there is no problem with bitcoin withdrawals.
Bitcoin withdrawals are delayed only if they are flagged to be reviewed manually.
