You technically don't need those lines, all you need is the email="your boinc email", but one of of my rigs once i added the boincappdir and boincdatadir that particular wallet started getting POR blocks, maybe it was coincidence.

So, you are saying, that you are running multiple wallets?

I have several wallets on different rigs, not multiple on 1 rig!

Gridcoin has a steep learning curve and daily changes,
if you choose to stay away from https://cryptocointalk.com/forum/464-gridcoin-grc/
but start to insult traderman, you risk loosing a community member

Your specific topic has changed in that you need not have different CPIDs on various clients.

You need to learn to read English! The boincdatadir and boincappdir are optional commands, they are not necessary! And NO you do not need to have wallet on every computer that is running Boinc! The only thing that has to be the same is the email you use to register for Boinc projects!

I've quoted it wrong. I'm not talking about boincdatadir and boincappdir.

I'm just curious, why did you told, that I need just one wallet,
and you are running few. This is the main thing I'm confused.
No offense.

Because I was testing to see how the wallet behaves on different hardware with different configurations and see if one crashed more often than the other and to test for forking!

I found a lot infos in that wiki- Thanks!
Maybee I found my mistake... my Boinc projects (I´m using BOINC since at least 5 years or longer) was not joined with the gridcointeam.
I joined it and hope that will solve the problem. Until now nothing changed in the wallet but I think I have to wait now for at least a day

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=324118.msg9292582#msg9292582

I still have "all CPU projects exhausted" ... since 3 days. BOINC is running and made a lot of work... RAC should be no problem

This is my config:

cpumining=true
email= *email*
UpdatingLeaderboard=false

Any ideas...sorry I´m a "semi noob"   ;-)

boincdatadir

is it boincdatadir or boincdatafolder?

I can see a new commit on github, should I compile it and test, or it's better to wait till tomorrow?

I've read all of that few times.
Good to hear you were able to read our board a few times. Smiley
We def need you on our side. I spend 3h on CCT each day just to keep up.
May I ask you to help us digest the load, so we create tutorials?
This evolves so damn quickly, communication is our topmost problem.
I'd be glad to see you around!

This is part of the process. If you were around last year around November and December we had similar issues with the GRC classic client, syncing problems, etc.. But we fixed all of it. Now we are transitioning to a new system and it is a bit rough till all the bugs are fixed. Gridcoin wallet is a complex piece of software, integrating Boinc into a POS system is no easy thing!

I finally made it. The BOINC projects are listed in the wallet.
The problem was indeed that I wasn`t joined in the gridcointeam in the BOINC Projects

Now I just wait to get some coins?

I Like that idea, I like that coin... I will spread the word  Grin
