@4x4et I thought you were busy arguing about paypal scams! I don't see how this is relevant, do you enforce KYC to every player?
From my point of view, if player deposit 0.0027 btc, knowing minimum bet is 0.001btc, and casino sets new minimum bet requirement which is 5 times higher without making player aware of it, player has every right to request his money back and player has every right to refuse any kind of bonus - KYC free. According to this rule: 9.1. You may only place bets with a minimum stake of 0.001 bitcoin in odds betting. In some cases, the minimum may be higher. Have you pointed "some cases" with increased bet requirement before player made deposit? actually this is what we were discussing last time when 4x4et posted about his problem , Cloudbet team commented nothing regarding this matter but they processed the withdrawal hoping for an official confirmation regarding processing withdrawals when someone deposit to bet on a certain match then finds out that he can't for some reason

Hello, I am posting here regarding my view on Cloudbet's approach on the Nadal - Del Potro game. As probably many of you know, the game took place yesterday and Nadal retired after two sets because of medical problems. I have placed a bet for 0.002BTC on Nadal to win. After the game, my bet was validated as lost. I see this is really unfair as the game didn't end having a in-game winner, it was just Del Potro winning by Nadal's retirement. I think the bet should've been voided, as this is a common practice among bookies. I don't see why my bet would be lost as long as Nadal didn't lose the game by playing it, but retired because of his medical problems. I have contacted their support team and this was the answer: Dear onciulian,
Thank you for contacting Cloudbet support One full set must be completed for money line wagers to stand. If less than 1 set is completed, all money line wagers will be void. The winner of the match is the participant declared the victor by the umpire of the match. Should you have any further questions please don't hesitate to ask.
Best regards,
Rupert
Cloudbet Support Team Leader
Yeah, I know, their house their rules but seriously this is just not a nice thing to do, it would be nice to just do as all the other bookies do and void the bets for a game that didn't get to end as by the rules. Just my 2 cents

Just my 2 cents That is pretty normal across several bookies. If you bet on the ML you either win/lose in case of retirement by a player, however if you bet on any spread or under/over you get a push and the money back.

I hated this rule when I started BTC betting but learned to cope with it and sometimes even use it to my advantage. You can get good value in first rounds of grand slams when betting against favorites you know had problems with injuries. When I am betting a game like yesterday a try to take some market that will exclude loosing the bet because of forefit. Like you could have probably played some asian handicap on Nadal. I don't like the rule as well but all crypto accepting bookies I tried have it exactly the same (Nitrogen, wbet7). On the other hand all fiat bookies I use count that match as forfeit so I use them if I am unable to find desired spread in BTC accepting ones.

Just my 2 cents you need to check bookie rules before betting , for example bitcoinrush counts retirement after 1 set and they will settle the bets as winners or loserd for me I took Del potro to win on sportsbet.io and they counted it as a push so I can complain about that too since I missed a winner in general I would say all the bookies I know settle the bets after retiring , I was surprised that sportsbet voided the bet since all the bookies I know will settle these and they will only void set betting , over/under games and handicaps so no it's not common practice to void in case of retirement , but as I said yeah some bookies do that but the majority don't

That is just their tactics to dishearten players who won and want to withdraw, which as a result should have a lack of will to be there again. They are fine when you are losing. Sometimes they demand documents too, if they should pay you a bigger ammount. These things are known as illegal casino tactics - and if they were located in USA, for example, they would be raided by FBI or they would have to pay massive ammount of money for breaking the rules. You've probably seen this in some movie, when an outsider wins a party of poker, they kick him out.

Morning all, hope you all had a lovely weekend!
There was some pretty intense action in the US Open, especially in the Women's finals. Do you agree with the umpires decisions?
Looks like we got a fair few messages over the weekend, so I'll work through them now and put responses below:
@zelkinz Thanks for the clarification. Our margins are a little different and we do offer additional markets when compared to Pinnacle. I'm passing on your messages to our sportsbook team where they are currently discussing the recent MLB updates and what can be done to further improve. I'll make sure your feedback is taken into consideration.
@marlboroza We don't enforce KYC to every player, as far as i'm aware it's used when some red flags are raised - such as in this case where a player requests a withdrawal without having used any of their funds. This is to comply with AML laws.
In the case being discussed the minimum stakes for the desired market were visible, they just weren't checked by the player before deposit. I still took the players side as I wasn't happy with how much higher the minimums were, so I issued bonus funds to allow them to make the original bet, as well as seeking a way to allow them to withdraw, which after escalation was processed in full.
@SyGambler I was responding at the time but it might have been in the thread in the 'Scam Accusations' sections. I'm very aware of how much people worry when there is a lack of response and always try to keep people updated when there are ongoing issues.
@jreister I'm really sorry about that, I've checked our rules and it seems that since 2 sets were played the result stands. Although technically correct it doesn't sit right with me as a community representative, so i'm going to put forward a request that we re-evaluate how we handle the grading in these situations going forward.
@chico7889 Really sorry about the delay and I'm glad it's finally been issued. Unfortunately we don't have coverage on social media and forums over the weekends, so our live support channels are usually the best place to go for updates on a delay. I'll call our support teams now and see if there was a reason for the delay beyond the high number of requests over the weekend.
@4x4et Please stop spreading FUD, you know nothing about the above players withdrawal and trying to frighten our players isn't welcome. As you can see they were paid out after an unfortunate delay, which I am currently investigating.
@lw13 We do have payment teams working over the weekend, but it's also when we tend to see the most sportsbook and casino action so we can sometimes see larger queues for withdrawals. I'll check on the progress of your withdrawal now and get back to you asap.
Thanks very much,
Ronnie @ Cloudbet

Im not spreading FUD, im just being analytical.
And you obviously have somebody who's monitoring this topic always, when unpaid claims started to pile up, voila 1 of them got paid.
Just to keep things quit.
Im on to you Ronnie, and im like a pitbull. I wont let go.
Maybe you should pay someone to ban me, like you are paying Legendary and Hero memebers $50 to promote your shady casino.

I have to agree with @4x4et.
Cloudbet is a scam bookmaker/casino which should be avoided AT ALL COST!
1) They delay withdrawals up to 4 days if you try to withdraw more than a few bucks. 2) They randomly require KYC when it suits them most 3) They randomly close your account and blame it on "opening multiple accounts", without any proof. And ofcourse, they keep your funds. 4) Customer support doesn't reply unless its some easy answer. 5) Live chat support has less than 1 braincell and only gives u copy/paste replies. 6) Ronnie from Bitcointalk forum promises but never delivers.

@4x4et It's just me on bitcointalk, apart from Peter who jumps on during the times I'm away during the week. When I got in this morning I checked the thread and highlighted the issues that had been reported, and worked with the payment teams to get them processed asap. One had already been issued, the other I escalated so it would be issued as a priority.
I can already attest to your dedication considering you are still active on our thread after your issue was resolved, and I'm happy for you to continue to push us to provide the best service possible for other players, but I'm not so keen on you telling players they won't get paid when you don't know anything about them on a case by case basis - it's pure speculation and not backed by any evidence.
As I've said before many times, it makes zero sense for a crypto sportsbook and casino in our niche industry to deny legitimate players their winnings. The damage to reputation would be incredibly harmful and not worth the negative PR if you want to look at it from an 'analytical' standpoint.
It's part of the reason I was working so hard at the time to find a solution to your issue, granted bonus funds, and escalated to the point where our senior management team got involved and signed off on bypassing our rollover requirements (that, and the fact I'm here to take the players side whenever possible).
Thanks,
Ronnie @ Cloudbet

Ok then what was the case with that guy who left u negative feedback cause you locked his account and didnt pay him 0.3 BTC? You said you're gonna investigate (as always). BTW my case wasnt resolved at all. You started to blackmail me with KYC, i said i wont do it and that I will post videos of Cloubet on youtube cause you are holding my bitcoin + blackmail. Then u send me back my btc (not all of it, it was 0.0024 instead 0.0027, but its ok I just wanted it back - so i agreed to ridiculous fee of $3 for withdraw). If somebody tries to blackmail and then he gives up, its not resolved, until he gets punished for that criminal act.
