This is a question I ask myself all the time that why do so many ICOs usually take so long period of time before they are  finally over. Some ICOs could go for long period of time as long as 6 months and 7 months thereabout. Does it mean the longer the period of ICO the better the rewards? Does that long period of time really mean I will have better profits either as a bounty hunter or an investor? I need some clarification and probably some  advise as a newbie to ICO bounty.

Usually the long term of ICO does not lead to something good. This is bad for investors, because the investment period is even longer. This is also bad for bounty hunters, because there is a chance to spend a very long time and get very little or nothing at all.

Very true, it is just an ironic situation because you spend long enough time for the ICO but receive a little amount of profit in return. We all know that we are expecting so much because its too long but eventually expecting nothing at the end of the ICO. Hopefully it will change in quite sometime now.

because they want to raise as much money as they can, that is the main reason of why they are always trying to extend the ICO period as much as they can

As they anticipate the pumping market momentum will then rise altcoin prices, as coin they are popular on the market will escalate. So they anticipated that so they stretched the ICO time.

why ico has a long period, because every ico must have had a plan, maybe they want to reach their hardcap so that ico can be realized well,

Most of the ICO's are very long period because the fund raising is very low and at present crypto currency is bad time, many peoples are to scare to invest in crypto currency due to price fluctuation in last 5 months, more ICO's are fail to raise fund and some ICO's fall in scam project. This is very difficult to trust in any ICO, in other case some ICO's have finished before the time period that is good ICO,

Because they need time to do marketing and developing the final product. When you create company it may take years before your company be successful.

For my own opinion they are looking for further information to get and be successful project, they take long time because they believe that their project was being successful no matter what happen,i look at this situation for one sentence that say slowly but surely.

I think why they make the period long. To get more investor on it. But there are some ico that they end quickly there sale it because they reach the hardcap or soldout token.

No, this does not depend on the duration of the campaign. It all depends on the project itself: you can receive a reward of $ 500 for four weeks in one project or $ 50 for eight weeks in another one. You need to get acquainted with white paper and the composition of the team.
For example, I'm absolutely sure that in the project Spotcoin reward will be worthy, because there is a very powerful team and the original concept of the project itself. Spotcoin supports new distributed ledger technologies by investing in promising startups and training the blockchain workforce of tomorrow through its innovative Blockchain Institute and Accelerator Program

I think that some projects have a long ICO selling period because they want the raise the most amount of funds for their project and  ICO must be prepared well and must be successful.

One reason why ICO period was long is because the longer the ICO the higher the chance to reach the hard cap of tye sales, meaning if an ICO has a long time to advertise thir product proportionally they have a greay and also have long time to sell their tokens. Some ICO has a huge cap up to 20m$ and this is big amount of money they cant get for a 1 months sales

It's taking them quite a long time to sell the tokens I think, it's not like last year, the market has crashed which makes ICO investment less aswell.

The main reason for ico period long is if any company when they not reach hard cap then company extend the ico period . thats why i prefer bounty with short period.

my opinion, long ico might be attributed to the ico quality, the shorter the ico time then he has the good quality, because the provider believes that in that short time, they can reach the target, and vice versa.

I have seen some ICO take longer because they have reached hard hats for long periods of time, but Rewards depend on the amount of money that ICO sells because of the percentage of ICC hardcaps acquired, many ICOs for not reaching the softcap they canceled the rewards program. So you need to pay attention to the sales speed of ICO project.

They wanted to get more money to be invested in their crappy ICO project. For me, ICOs who do that are stupid to realize to theirselves that their project has nothing special and just like a "me too" project.

The longer the ICO is not good for either bounty hunter and investors. If the ICO keep extending means the softcap is not yet reaching then if in case it reached softcap then most probably the accumulated budget from sales would be less means the reward will be less as well. For investors they need to take long time in order to get a profit.

I have experienced several icos that were extended for a few to several weeks. Although its sad because bounty allocations are not increased, we are left with no choice but to continue promoting in order to retain our stakes.

Because greedy developers are trying to raise as much money as possible. Because of this, the public is screwed for a long time and then the ICO is prolonged

long time-consuming ICO projects are usually projects that have very high targets so they take a long time to get more investors investing in the project. for a gift to the bounty hunter seems the same if calculated based on time.
