long time-consuming ICO projects are usually projects that have very high targets so they take a long time to get more investors investing in the project. for a gift to the bounty hunter seems the same if calculated based on time.

This is a question I ask myself all the time that why do so many ICOs usually take so long period of time before they are  finally over. Some ICOs could go for long period of time as long as 6 months and 7 months thereabout. Does it mean the longer the period of ICO the better the rewards? Does that long period of time really mean I will have better profits either as a bounty hunter or an investor? I need some clarification and probably some  advise as a newbie to ICO bounty.

No, long period of time in an ICO does not mean you will have a better profit on your bounty. Mostly ICO will take time because of the work they are doing like launching, exchange listing and many more to market their product.

It will be very long waiting for us. Because we as participants of the campaign will get the payment after ICO is completed and if it's not finished ICO we should still be waiting. But there certainly would be better if we become investors because after we make payments instantly get a token.

ICO take quite a long time to properly realize their project plans especially if they have long and complicated road maps that they intend to follow to the later.  FOR AN ICO to properly develop especially  if its a god one, the development team needs time to develop all its specifics in a special manner that addresses the promise and specifics of the ICO. All these needs time to accomplish, plus maybe the financial need to come up with the desired product aren't met in time forcing the ICOs to lengthen their launch period.

We could not collect the right amount, that's prolonged. Here I see on the latest projects, often doing hyphenation, but this does not affect the reward. They at least get what they planned.

The reward depends on the amount of money ICO sells because of the percentage of ICC hardcap earned, many ICOs because of not achieving the softcap that they cancel the bounty program. So you need to pay attention to the ICO sales speed of the project.

The long period of ICO does not mean that the rewards are also great. The ICO duration is based on the fundraising targets of investors on the total supply required by a project. Possible if long ICO duration can reach target according to hardcap.

It because they want to achieve their hardcap. And it doesn't make any sense for us. I think it just made more people join that bounty and then make our reward smaller. But I think it's different when you join bounty which have limit participant.

I think that some projects have a long ICO selling period because they want the raise the most amount of funds for their project and  ICO must be prepared well and must be successful.
Agreed. As to the duration. For me, this means that the project is struggling for existence, extending the project trying to enter the market. Some don't increase rewards, but some do. But still, a long ICO for me is a guarantee of payment.

Yes, ICO recently tended to extend campaign time. Some delay issues from devs or the most important reason are the bad market conditions for selling the tokens. That affects the process of raising funds for their projects. Therefore, to ensure the process of ico and investors peace of mind. They often have the idea of extending the time to sell the token and the bounty campaign

the longer the bounty campaign lasts the less reward you can get. this is because more and more participants join the bounty. if there is no limit to the number of participants and the bounty campaign is very popular, then at the end of the campaign the reward will be very small. you will spend a lot of time on activity and get few tokens. it's better not participate in such bounties.

in my seeing in the ICO that having a long time to be finished is because they have not reach the right investors that can take the ICO to success. some are extending their ICO because they want to make sure the security of their project. some of them is watching the market of bitcoin and other bitcoin and if the price is too dangerous to add a new ICO, they postponed and take their time.

some of this ICO that makes too long period become more successful because they use the time. timing is very important. to become successful, there is the right time. and that is when the market become good while running the ICO.

The main reason for ico period long is if any company when they not reach hard cap then company extend the ico period . thats why i prefer bounty with short period.
Extend only those ICO, who are not really afraid of difficulties and fighting for their project. This is very commendable and usually such projects are still coming to market.

The duration of the ICO is determined by the developers themselves by purely subjective factors. They often extend the token sale to dial SoftCap or HardCap. The reward is not always fair if the ICO goes on for 6-7 months.

The duration of a particular project is determined by the team maybe 2or 3 months, most ICO extend their sale because they couldn't reach the softcap or hardcap. And might probably up to seven months before the required cap will be raised.

I don't like ICO that goes on for a long time. I think that there are two important signs
1. the team is not sure that they will be able to raise enough funds.
2. greed of the team

As a member, I'd rather pass up this project (if it doesn't seem very attractive to me Roll Eyes) because six months is an awfully long time, and maybe in those six months the coin will end up costing a not-so-good price... By the way, I took part in projects that lasted 3 months and after the expiration of the term they extended their company to 2-3 months Grin...
In fact, I became an unwitting participant for half a year) Tongue
And most it's a shame that program has increased almost in 2 times, but reward has remained unchanged Undecided Cry

I usually join such projects in the middle. When they already have 8-13 weeks. I immediately start my participation, because I know that this company will not leave the market in silence. It will collect funding and develop.

There are different ICO projects with different rewarding time, some might come in a short while and some in a long term reward. I believe every project has it's aims and objective which means they might seek for more investors who could hold longer for there profit and remember not ICO are legit but if it does be legit patience works. Get involved in more legit ICO
