further: to the producer of those EAC pins I think they are too dull - not distinctive enough.. if I meet someone wearing that one - and didn't know about EAC - I would have to go very close to see what it is - and even then my first thought would be a browser..
making a distinctive logo is no easy task - it has to stand out - be simple and clear - with one or 2 colors that stand out in order for people to immediately recognize the brand..

Is there nowhere a eac faucet or giveaway ? I missed this coin and i would just like to have some, not much. Just a little. But i find no faucet or giveaways. Perhaps someone can donate me some. Would really appreciate that.

Stop begging and buy! How do you think other people came to earthcoins? I bought them one week ago for the current market price...

3. I heard, Big Vern ( cryptsy) is having some connection to the coming coin; COINYE. 4. COINYE is getting launched today and will be pushed/marketed very intensively ( it is already widely in the news before the launch). 5. Coinye might be on cryptsy very quick.
I say again my assumptions might very well wrong. But when cryptsys interest is COINYE, I can imagine they don't want to boost their biggest opponent; EAC. @batoelrob - the above quote is from your own post.. did you read this? http://online.wsj.com/public/resources/documents/20140107-WSJ-coinye.pdf which Grrizz posted.. I would not give that Coinye a bright future - and if indeed BigVern aka Cryptsy is behind it (as you are indicating) - we might soon need a new exchange Yes, I did read it. But that's not really our concern, whatever happens to coinye, we can't do anything about it. Situation is that it looks like that we might not be listed so soon ( or not at all) at cryptsy. So, we have to make plans, to get listed on other exchanges. As far as I can see, China is important. Yesterday, I posted about a voting on www.guogao.com (but you have to be registered, I heard). The funny thing, I was registered, but can't remember I ever did that ( don't speak chinese). Then in China we have www.bter.com and www.btc38.com. According www.bter.com, I am not really enthusiastic. There is little trading, I have an account there and had a lot of problems cashing out last week. I got an error code and support never answered my mail. Finally, I installed qq and had to try to explain an not english speaking chinese that something was wrong. After a couple of days, I finally was able to cashout. As far as I can see btc38 is the place to be, but we were listed and taken off again. To me it looks like we need to search really hard for the right chinese speaking guy that can help us further regarding getting a listing at btc38 ( and maybe bter). I hope so much that all these noobs, complaining about the 2% premine and the dev not willing to give full info about his EAC holdings, will stop posting. In a market that is going on for a couple of years it is impossible to come on top without the use of a lot of money ( coins). I have seen it in other businesses, coming in "late"you need an excellent product, huge dedication and a lot of money, to have a chance to succeed. As far as I can see, the product is good, the dedication is fantastic, but don't take the money away. Maybe we should turn it the other way. I think, the dev does a great job and earns a reward everytime we make money by holding EAC coins. Mr. earthcoin, I will send you a reward of 25k EAC as soon as EAC/BTC hits 0,00001

some of you are clearly delusional
what splash in crypto world are we talking about? 1 (or 2) videos and a template for website
Coinye coin already has more than twice Ghash than EAC does. And yes, Ghash=trading=value
what we have are promises, and not many of those either. (well that trading app screenshot looks nice I admit)
Most of it is = WE ARE SERIOUS FUTURE LOOKING COIN
thats not enough im afraid. we need a financial promise. eac has fast transactions and thats a clear advantage, but neither on chinese websites nor on eac's official webpage is that clearly advertised. i mean... the concept says... green earth... good future... equality... but how about: WE SPARE TIME, WE SPARE ENERGY, FAST TRANSACTIONS... for a busy business person is that a way better reason to invest than in green earth ... am i wrong? Actually in Chinese EAC profile, the first feature mentioned is Fast Transaction. But your suggestion is welcome, we may emphasize this important point. Ps. I believe the fast transaction because it really did when I deposit/withdraw.

The truth is that without a big markets (cryptsy/coins-e/bter) price and hashrate will drop. and this may lead to actual death of eac If within a week or two there will not be REAL news, then eac will dramatically fall

The same revert from the opposite direction We'll look into the possibility to set up a bilingual forum base on the current bbs.earthcoin.cn. So maybe some day we can help the foreign friends dealing with some problem in Chinese exchange.

General update: * Thanks - everyone - for everything so far. This has been an insane journey for us (well for me at least). 230 pages of insanity - and finally we can come up for a bit of air and take a look at this from an eagle's eye viewpoint vs a worm in the trenches. * A lot is happening that we could not have predicted, and these unforeseens will probably continue to happen in this wild wild west environment. From free coin generators to copyright infringement frenzies, to exchanges not giving us a fair shot for whatever reasons despite obvious quality and effort from all involved far surpassing most of the slates out there, to competitors or critics going far out of their way to stifle our growth in many creative ways. We're still motoring! * We'll be spending the next phase on top level priorities and networking with exchanges. I actually reached out to BigVern on my Skype yesterday morning despite my efforts not to bug him - and have not had a response yet - we're not that 'close' so I feel funny continuing to wag my tail over and over at him, if there is an update you're all the first to know. Something is DEFINITELY happening over there, we just hope we're a part of it sooner than later now. * Not worried about our logo, go to google images and look for 'e logos', there's tons and I made sure we're far off from their shape, thickness, treatment, sub logo's to boot re the earth vs the 'e'. * Chinese exchanges/networking, as you can see we have a 'Chinese version' link from our main site to our Chinese teams site - yes we're taking it seriously and yes we'd like to be included in their exchanges too obviously . However I understand with the crazy dilution why more exchanges are implementing thicker filters quick. * More info coming soon, today looks like it's going to be a busy one.

@earthcoin In the context of a possible impending lawsuit against the Coinye devs - and yes maybe the RPC as well - I can't help mentioning/asking if the devs behind EAC are absolutely sure there can be no lawsuit from e.g. Microsoft with that very similar logo to the Internet Explorer one..?
I think that is ok. Earthcoin has no conncetion to the IE. And it is just a plain lower case 'e'. In my opinion the logo reminds people of the logo of the internet explorer. I showed the logo to many people and they all saw it "Ihhh internet explorer. Nice coin, but this logo is bad". Is there a possibilty for a competion for a new logo. Same style but less ie-ish? Maybe another font style.

Maybe another font style. It's not even that similar. It's just a blocky lowercase E. The tail of the IE 'e' hooks around to end parallel with the upper part, the EAC one does not. And the IE 'e' is heavier weight. Please, for god's sake, do not change the logo now. Look at what happened with Quark running a 'logo contest'. it became an absolute cluster*** and everyone still uses the old logo. EAC logo is awesome. Microsoft does not have a trademark on lowercase letter E's.

I think people need to be reminded of a simple fact:
go to coinex, scroll back as far as you can. the earliest day you can see a price:
you'll find EAC with the label "open" at 250 satoshi.
yes, it was 250 satoshi back then.
now we are at 277...
now take a look at basically every other new coin. some lost 93% of their value, like moon.
how about people see the big picture, recognize that doige has lost constantly every day, while we are still at starting levels.
yes, we were at 900 too, but we did not crash far far below starting price as doge did and all the other trash coins
what do you expect? several hundred % in a week?
right now prices are hilariously cheap, yet no indication that EAC has tanked or is on the way out. on the contrary. EAC has been the most stable coin out there, despite BTC spike and tons of competition
