My point is that without showing evidence, you can't claim that there are cheaters.

Yes I can, and I just did.  Go ahead and play there yourself if you want to.  I honestly don't give two shits.  I think anyone else watching the same action would conclude the same thing, but knock yourself out.

And by "there" I specifically mean 6 seat or short-handed PLO, not anything else at Seals, that is about as up and up as the action on other sites.

I agree with darkmule.  Even somebody as dimwitted as myself can see the problem.  I try to stay away from PLO but I did play with donk4u on the day he is talking about.  I had the same wtf reaction and left the tables after a short time.

MICON, players don't need to give you more info on suspected play.  You have all the info you need.  Just watch the PLO tables at all times.  There are not that many of them.

What I'm saying is, players who change their names to bumhunt efficiently and players playing together to cheat people are two different things.  People sitting players that they haven't seen before happens everywhere, and people not wanting to be the first player on a table happens everywhere.

before you were saying I couldn't prove bumhunting now they are doing it efficiently lmao. You also said it was crazy for people to do that at micro stakes , now your tipping your hat to the 4 people who are bumhunting insta  sitting together ,but whatever.

It's still crazy for people to go to such lengths to bumhunt micros.  It's also crazy for people to go to such lengths to collude in micros.

My main point is that it's irresponsible to say "THERE'S CHEATING GOING ON HERE!" with zero proof.  You hurt the site's credibility, your credibility, and the credibility of people who are actually trying to expose cheating.

I never said there was cheating going on ~~~~ You think it helps the sites credibility when a player opens 3 tables during multiple sessions and has constant slew of brand new names insta stitting all those games?

I'd just ignore these trolls.  They've clearly not seen the action in question, are too dumb to understand it if they did, or are just trolling.

True just wanted to correct him that I never said anything about cheating just don't agree with the new names every session  insta sitting when I open up new tables and he keeps spinning it into whatever way he sees fit along with putting words in my mouth. He is now  indeed  on ignore . Its not that I can't take a different opinion, just don't appreciate him spinning what I said even though I reiterated that I wasn't complaining about cheating.

On a side note , I reported to support suspicious play a few times but saw the same players later on and in 1 year of play never got any money back due to collusion plus the fact that support won't tell you if they find someone cheating so imo what is the point of reporting it?

Shrug, I guess people are just going to see what they want to see and no amount of reasoned discussion will convince them otherwise.  All I'm asking for is some small amount of proof before you go accusing everyone who sits you of cheating.

You guys need to post HHs when you are accusing people of collusion.  Bumhunting =/= collusion.  I'm not saying that it's not happening, I'm just saying that your proof is inconclusive.

I don't really care enough to collect evidence, which would involve playing against cheaters.  My preference is just not to play against cheaters, so I won't.  If you want to, go right ahead.

I was a dedicated Omaha ring player until the rampant collusion was discovered last year. I stopped playing ring altogether for months. I started playing a few months ago and everything was fine until 2 months ago or so with the never ending new names and then  being bumhunted at  ridiculous rate by 4 people constantly changing names every time I opened multiple tables. I haven't noticed 4 people with new names sitting every session until very recently .  I am going to vote with my feet and stop playing ring again it looks like  as having groups of people bumhunt you with never changing names is not my idea of  a  fun time or a  level playing field.

This is still probably the only site where you'll have enough players to actually play a game of poker. Trust wise it's fine and withdrawals are still going out on time as far as I know.

Apparently he thinks that when he sits at a table a group of people join him, presumably colluding to take his money.

I've seen pretty odd behavior at times when I've played PLO.  People are raising and reraising every hand preflop, then when I see what they've raised with, it makes no sense, unless they are trying to get a sucker into the pot, essentially playing against 3 or 4 other people.  Chances are that one of the others is going to win, and if they are colluding, share the coins at the end of the session.

What does 'bumhunting' and 'sitting someone' mean?  Sorry I don't know all the technical lingo.

"Bumhunting" is a completely legitimate poker strategy.  It basically means you're lurking watching tables waiting for someone you know to be a loser to join the table so you can pick a seat with a favorable position to them (usually acting after them), and then basically hustle them.  One method I call the "ant-lion" strategy is the guy who sits at every imaginable heads-up table waiting for someone to join and then takes their money.

The "bumhunting" strategy here, though, would be just waiting for someone to start a table and then joining.

The people who do this are quite often very good players who are looking for suckers.  (Sometimes they just think they are and the "bum" they are hunting is nothing of the sort.)

However, this is not what people are complaining about.

It is particularly that when a collusion operation is going on, the perps all instantly join any time someone starts a table, they are always new IDs nobody has ever seen before, and the table instantly breaks the moment the one real player parts.  It isn't speculation that this has happened on Seals.  Seals has more than once refunded players when colluders get caught, and the main game where this has occurred on Seals is PLO.

This has nothing to do with the integrity of Seals, and anyone who has played online has seen similar behavior even on the big sites like Stars.  The difference is that Seals is a pretty small site, so it is more glaringly obvious when it does occur.  On Stars, if you saw something weird, you could generally just jump to another table (after reporting it if you were sure).  There were lots of tables.

On Seals, it really only takes a few bad apples to ruin a game where there are usually only one or two tables.
