Piuk, do you have an update when forwarded transactions will be fixed?

I tried a shared send transaction nearly 24 hours ago, and still nothing has come through my end.

Edit: Fixed.

I tried a shared send transaction nearly 24 hours ago, and still nothing has come through my end.

Sorry about that, an error last night caused all funds to be unnecessarily swept into cold storage. This isn't a problem apart from it messed up some of the forwarding tables. Most payments should be clear now however if you are missing a payment please PM me or if you have received an extra payment and you are feeling honest please PM me. Some other changes as well:

- All forwarding transactions will now include fees covered by blockchain.
- There is now a minimum transaction size of 0.001 BTC. Payments will pool in the receiving address until that threshold is reached.
- Notifications should be faster.
- Improvements to shared send mixing.

I'm unable to pair my account with the most recent version of the blockchain app.  When scanning the first QR code (under account/devices) I get the error:
"invaliding pairing version code 0"

When scanning the second QR code I get the following error:
"invaliding pairing version code b"

I've installed QR Droid as some have suggested, to no avail.   (I'm not sure how to set the "default" QR program, so I deleted everything I could find related to QR programs sans QR Droid)

Very frustrating.  Would be nice to have some sort of manual entry backup option.  Or even be able to "Create a new account" in the app as it says you can do, but there is no captcha displayed ergo there is no way to sign up for a new account to send money too....

Please help!!

Can anyone shed some light on how error handling is implemented in the blockchain API?
From our tests, it seems to return 200 OK and an HTML response, instead of returning the proper HTTP error code.

Is this the expected state of affairs right right now?

Hey piuk, awesome service.

I have a request, I don't think it would be too hard to implement on your end.

I'd like to be able to get more than the latest 50 transactions for an address. I know we can do something like:

http://blockchain.info/address/1LNWw6yCxkUmkhArb2Nf2MPw6vG7u5WG7q?format=json&limit=25

to get a certain number of transactions. Could you allow us to either request more than 50 transactions, or start at an "offset" to be able to get a larger number of transactions for an address?

Thanks!

I should have tried before I typed this. "offset" seems to work exactly as expected. Cool.

Hm... looks like blockchain.info got a change... the size and fee is shown too now. But what i dont like is that unverified transactions arent shown anymore... I see them in my wallet, my alarmemail comes in but blockchain.info doesnt give me info. I checked the filter but it seems to be this way now.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

The main blockchain.info web site automatically switched to mBTC after I selected it in the Chrome extension, excellent!

Please do the same in the Android app, too. (Switch to mBTC.) Smiley

I know this because Tyler knows this.

I was using the Blockchain iPhone App when I got this error.

Yep I had to disable the additional signature checks, until the iphone app is updated.

Is there a getrawtransaction api call that outputs the serialized transaction?

Sorry, there is no getrawtransaction call available currently.

Very frustrating.  Would be nice to have some sort of manual entry backup option.  Or even be able to "Create a new account" in the app as it says you can do, but there is no captcha displayed ergo there is no way to sign up for a new account to send money too....

Both of those options should be available. Are you definitely using the latest version https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=piuk.blockchain.android&feature=nav_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDNd?

I have responded to the question on SE.

Not quite sure what you mean. Unconfirmed transactions should always be displayed unless they are double spends.

Nice to see the blocks of Asicminer in the Pool Pie! Smiley

But when clicking on it (or viewing with the API)
https://blockchain.info/en/blocks/Asicminer
http://blockchain.info/blocks/ASICMiner?format=json

They seem to mine every block Tongue

Would be nice if this can be fixed!  Grin

Its already working again. Shortly after i saw the change in blockchain, that it shows fee and size now, i found that a transaction that came in wasnt shown for a long time. I saw the transaction in wallet and got a mail from bitcoinmonitor.com but nothing was in blockchain.info. But its working now again. Im not sure what was the problem.

Hm... second time i see this... a transaction came in: 41f078f8da4ff672e9bf58626e2e294420d19c6b384892661b0dc25f4a4c548c

I got an email from bitcoinmonitor.com nearly a hour ago... i see the transaction in my wallet... but blockchain.info doesnt know about it... It says: "Sorry we could not find any blocks or transactions matching this hash"

Im not sure if it really can be that the transaction is hidden from blockchain.info this long time while all others can see it...

This only happened the second time now... i had many transactions before where blockchain.info showed the transaction in an instand. It pinged the same moment i got an email from bitcoinmonitor...

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

blockchain.info seems to have hard-forked itself about an hour and a half ago. My local bitcoind is up at block 237307 (hash 00000000000000dd3d053fa66aa7e336e0f8339b0a2297cdc446743d3c88bf06); blockchain.info is stuck at should-be-orphaned 237298 (hash 000000000000002bcaf84854f751e9e6d85f54a308faa12e26c84875c54d9e86). What's going on?!

If it helps: the winning chain's 237298 (hash 00000000000001045defb8087b606cae318d02a0b04403ba11a484cb1487e9d0) is the point of first disagreement, i.e. 237297 before it (hash 000000000000005baf99bd1784a0ea57bf5da1f974b3d0dd0bfcdfe68772f0b4) is the point of last agreement. Also, the two competing 237298's arrived [at my local node anyway] within seconds of each other. (Which, of course, should not be a problem.)

EDIT: All is now well! But that does still leave the question: how did such a well-connected node as blockchain.info fall so far behind in the first place?

I can't get the latest Android app to sync with my wallet.
If i try to scan the QR code I just get a camera screen that doesn't scan anything.
If i try to enter my username or password i get the error "Pad Block Corrupted"

Anyone else or just me, or am I doing something wrong?
I did have the old app working fine until i reflashed my phone and had to reinstall.

Fee should be bigger and the transaction creating the input to the transaction isn't confirmed yet and should have a bigger fee.

That's about as far as I felt like tracing it back.  Given the fees being too low, and the number of unconfirmed transactions chained together, it could be several days before your transaction is confirmed.  I wouldn't be surprised to see it take a few weeks.
