I think your config needs to use "profile" format like below.  It's not my config but I use same format.  I just copied below from sgminer_v5 thread.
Or maybe just need to use "darkcoin-mod" instead of "x11mod".

I honestly don't understand why there are miners on the Nscrypt multipool.

X11 is simply a different algorithm. Heck, the devs have plans to switch to an improved one themselves. It's not like we are supporting another coin directly, hoping to catch some wind. =P

no problem here - we are incorporating more X11 miners, which like bright coin like VTC and not especially like a "dark coins", with all that dirty games there, well known for all...
Such GPU miners, that didn't mine VTC only because of heat/power cost problems

and this part of n-scrypt miners what are switching into VTC_X11 mode - are still in VTC game,
and this will improve amount of VTC for the rest mining in N-scrypt still
