Ah OK I just noticed, for example bfgminer thread, seems to get short every once and a while, among others but that is my perspective  Smiley
That may be self-moderated, they can choose that when starting thread but DigiByte chose not to  for transparency.  Smiley

FYI Posts have been removed, including posts from Official DigiByte in this thread but this has been by BCT moderators for mainly unknown undisclosed reasons so it isn’t completely intact.

i wouldn't recommend bter at all. including bitebi9 or this recently new one called 'touzibi'. i had lots of bad experience with withdrawals from bter. not forgetting it has its own bad history of hacks and whatever else. DGB don't deserve to be on any of the 3 mentioned above...i should rephrase: THESE 3 EXCHANGES (BTER, BITEBI9, TOUZIBI) DON'T DESERVE DIGIBYTE!

Hi guys,

I have bought a new computer a week ago, and I decided to download again my desktop wallet. The blockchain has been downloaded witout my wallet.dat backup file, successfully. But now, when putting my only wallet.dat backup, it says me that I have a CORRUPTED WALLET ><

Do you guys know if there is some command lines to put in the wallet in order to "repare" it?

EDIT : I have deleted the blockchain, and put my wallet.dat before downloading again. I hope this will fix the issue.

Good luck with sorting it out. I don't use the Windows download wallet as it takes too much space on my laptop. I keep my coins on the exchanges and the gaming wallet, Poloniex and Bittrex have a good reputation but best to split your coins up a bit in case an exchange goes TitsUP. I also wouldn't use the Chrome or mobile wallets as they not that stable but the gaming wallet is good.

yep, a re-index of the blockchain would have done the same thing and I'd say your coins are much better off in your core wallet than on exchanges or in chrome or mobile wallets!

Indeed, I'm keeping myself some tip wallet on mobile to explain to people how it's working and to tip them.
Keep your coins on a cold wallet like USB key with the .dat file duplicated 2 or 3 times, in a safe place. That's the best way if you're on the long haul.

Stop these Hype money, get in DGB!

 FYI

We are working on a document for Digibyte to educate people. Jumbley and I and the dev have access to the shared google doc. When finished we can use Digusign to keep it safe.

Since I don't know many people I would ask Jumbley to send me email addresses of people that want to contribute.

I could pay for it myself but what's in it for me?  I'll make nothing on exchanges and I'm not interested in selling any of my dgb at these prices.

chinees could better see DGB and maybe investing in it... i thought it was a so big community... why ppl don't invest in the coin? i'm not asking you to pay for it... but community could help the coin growing and go make some vote to help it to be added there for example... and make market moove in different places...showing for example 10'000$ volume on btc38 and 7'000 on poloniex or the opposite. and doing this after jared relase some realy good news could be good.¨
few years ago it was already issue to be on btc38... no pain no gain

The DigiByte community is large but not desperate, dgb will be added to all reputable exchanges in good time and time we have plenty. I’m not fixated with current price, it is meaningless. If the whole world can’t see what a crock fiat is today, it’s not my problem but one that will slap them in the face. I have no problem with people voting to add coins but I won't pay for votes out of principle.

Come on litecoingva tell us, what is your game? You have made around 111 posts, all of them on our thread and usually negative and without substance. What exactly do you hope to achieve, some DigiByte fans trolling the litecoin thread, perhaps? Do you actually have a point or is this just one of the troll activities you have now become addicted to?

You could put 300 votes up yourself like you did for cryptsy, that all turned out well. Grin and it's been over 2 years since you first said this coin was dead.

A sad FYI.

Google docs is not playing nice with images. Going to cancel the share doc thing and look for other options for a knowledge sharing presentation.

I try and I try...

sorry i just see in twitter DGB has so many follower... 22.624 ( a number that suddetly grow fast lol)... but with a so big community... it should be really easy to let them make a free vote. you don't need paid for that. (read at the top of the description : 2, Each of our user has 1 free vote per coin.)

with so many follower it should be easy and fast for a big community to be on good exchanges... so be in chineess exchange should not take a lot of work to jared to make a twitt and let the big community vote for free. by this way you can show the world that DGB is a really big community and not just a fictive number of supposed people that exist...

and i read in post few years ago that it was a target for DGB to be listed in btc38, so i wonder why it take a so long time... and should be realy easy for so many ppl invested in DGB and following it. you dont think ?

jared dont need to give hope telling bullshit that exchanges will add the coin on gdax or others lol .. keep the feet on ground... it's the support of the community that can help for that.... you don't think mate ? lol

and you tell i'm a troll but you made the change in the website to finally take off the link of bitebi9 that was really not professional... tell me thank's to help you to be a better coin. don't hate me mate lol

and look it seem chinees language:
