Have some other updates to do with regard to the mining page, ie, tutorials and what not. I'd really like to get this Facebook giveaway started, at least in an attempt to bring in some fresh blood.

The "whale" on Mintpal is playing a game, so I decided to play.
I put a buy order on top of his pitiful .00010502 order and watched to see what would happen.
Boom, suddenly the buy wall goes up.  I cancelled my order, because I wanted to see what would happen.
The wall then goes all the way up to .00012000.  Just like this morning.
Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice and shame on me.
Just letting you know that the buy orders from .00010501 likely all belong to the same person, unless more than 1 person can claim their buy orders.
If you place a buy order above .00012000, you're going to get dumped on.
Be warned.  Sorry, but this is getting old.

Regarding the Facebook giveaway, has any marketing part been written for the form?

Doesn't matter if devs abandon their coin, as long as we can keep it going. devs are just one or two people who got it going. took hundreds of ppl to trade it to where it is today. it will take a handful of us to keep utc alive, and make it grow. If devs did abandon it, it proves me right with everything i've said, that the coin isn't unique enough, but we can make it unique, but we have to act now before we miss our chance to make UTC greater. Be thankful the devs gave us this coin, even if they don't want it.

we need, in this order:
Step 1: merchants and our online store - we have 2-3 weeks before step 2
Step 2: exchange - will take care of itself once CT gets back up
Step 3: publicity - promos, giveaways, FB and tweets all fall under this.

I'm doing my part on the social media scene.  My twitter army has been rounded up and will be carrying out a serious twitter campaign.  Also working on fb exposure too.  Any advice or recommendations from anyone regarding social media would also be welcomed.  

I've even been thinking of getting some advertising done at one or two universities.  I've got a couple ppl who attend universities in a few states whom I could get to put up a couple posters.  Although students they may not be big financial players but yet it is exposure and crypto is very popular amongst students.  Any one want to chime in on whether I should do this or just stick to online marketing and social media?

Any publicity is good publicity for Ultracoin I would think. University students can be a gold mine.
Maybe not so much financially but for buzz creation and might even bring some new blood in here.
So yeah, sounds good to me! Maybe it'll be better to coincide with the Facebook giveaway.

simple advertising: print a utc symbol with big "UTC" and website. below it on a piece of paper and hang them everywhere. let ppl see it and think. they'll have no clue and look it up on their phones. simple, effective. like what people do to street signs with their stickers. im not saying plaster signs, illegal, duh. but that's what gave me the idea.

probably just bad connection. try restarting wallet. and if that doesn't work, re-install wallet
