somebody have tips for me to mine ultracoin with smos or bamt or both Smiley
I have a ready to use SMOS/BAMT for UTC if you're interested.

I'm interested, but if there is also a tutorial somewhere i would most appreciate it.
Maby i learn a thing of 2 Smiley

I fear my english isn't sufficient enough to make a good step by step tutorial about
compiling cgminer on bamt.

Here is the easy way:
http://com.moogle.at/SMOS-UTC-Linux1.5-2GB.zip

I'll guess you know how you can write this image to the stick, then you just need to
edit the /etc/bamt/cgminer.conf to suite your needs and restart mining with

/etc/init.d/mine restart

EDIT: if someone is interested in writing a good tutorial, I'll put it on the wiki.

Many many many tnx.
I know how to put it on a stick. I also have seen the tutorial (bottom page 365) but don't know all the updates i need. I first will try yours tomorrow. And than also maby try myself. But linux/ubuntu is still very hard for me.

Ermmm guys... Am I doing my math right here?
According to what I'm reading here and the following parameters:

6x R9 280x (alledgedly they should hash @ 550Kh/s each?) = 3.3 Mh/s
Current difficulty: ~6.5
Block Reward: 50
UTC/BTC rate: ~ 0.00033
BTC/USD rate: ~ 640

...would make me over $100/day !?

I somehow doubt this is correct...

You will nog get those high speeds with coins like UTC. because there is an extra factor (the N-factor), you only get 140 instead of your 550 (some have 800+) if you where mining doggie.

I also had a pretty high speed, but wil lots and lots of harware errors, so that was terrible and for 2 weeks wasn't mining much.
I doubt any body had 550 with jane scrypts, while 760 with normal scrypt.

My english is not real good, and that goes the same for some others. Maby there's a communication error.
Think jane scrypt is about 20% or less than normal scrypt.

Never mind that, hash rate is down for everyone, so you get the same amount of coins in relation.

UTC marketcap has increased 10fold in the last 2 days, so it's a bug.

Seriously are you trolling ?

Do you think UTC has marketcap <  83,746$ (100th place)?
