Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

The Problem is that Long term development of a coin doesn't care a Newb Trader.
He only wants to make fast money...like 1 week ago with auroracoin.
Im pretty sure that 80% of the traders are new and dont have clue about the worth of a coin.
For me i am sure that im gonna hold this coin  Tongue

Sorry that UTC Block Explorer is currently down.

It's because of cloud server provider's problem.

It's 1am for me now. I will get it up this morning or later today as soon as provider resolve the issue.

Yea, all the coin need to be pumped is good buzz and people with money holding a share of it.

Look at AUR, good publicity, public interest, for slow term pumping and huge profits.

anyone minting via POS yet?

It's like need 1 year for 2% interest.

UTC POS is for long term holding. If just for short term investment, other coins with shorter coin age are suitable. (e.g. HBN, 2-5% for every 10 days)

I put over 2 btc to support input UTC on cryptsy.
I did it for you and no regrets. What is the two BTC?
Are these two BTC concert my life?
Does it make sense so understate the value to get some BTC?
Do these people what they sell so cheap enrich themselves through this?
No!
We do not need to do Wolong pump and destroyed currency and human investment.
We need currencies which slowly and gradually increases.
We need a currency which is to have a long life, which will reward us work in it inserted.
Soon it will be appreciated, the world looks at you.
We finally got two decent stock exchange on which we have a lot of options.
Do not worry about the exchange rate, which is dictated by the weak investors and miners.
Do not follow them.
You are the best community ever met
Please only one, honor UTC.

The minority always screwing everything up, I don't know what they gain by selling so low.

When people want almost 200,000 Ultra Coins and only 30~40,000 are even up for sale.... you shouldn't be the one running to the front to give away your coins for free, but do as you wish....
Litterally, someone can just come in right now and scoop up 30,000$ worth of coins for 10,000$ or less because of cowards, wish I had that kinda of fiat just sitting around honestly.

that's ridiculous, so i guess POS minting is really an option...this coin is pretty much all POW then..not much different than other POS...just a little faster confirmation times. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Founder says he is considering changing it to a smaller number, but I haven't seen anything concrete about it.  For all intensive purposes, it is PoW only in the short / longterm mattering how you look at it.  And a correction up above, it is 20% not 2% interest.

Because cryptsy isn't the moon. We need to continue with development and propagation to get to the moon.
