I'm one of the developers of AsiaCoin.

Screenshot their thread and report them ASAP. Cheating votes is not ethical and not tolerable. I hope no one in this community is doing the same thing.

yes absolutely! we wish to be chosen properly and honestly.we reject any false votes

So do us. At the beginning of the vote, a few AC community members got the wrong idea about the voting and posted those comments, which I and other AC community members warned them and discouraged false voting. Our posts are there. You don't see those kind of comments repeated after our warnings.

By the way, I was the one who PM'ed DCgirl and bumface about the rules against rewards for voting while asking for confirmations. If our intentions weren't pure and we were trying to be unethical, I could have just saved screenshots and sent them to CoinPayments on final hours, that would indeed disqualified UTC altogether. But that's not what we're about. If you guys wish to create a big deal out of 2-3 people double voting at the beginning because they didn't know better, go ahead, at least tell them everything Smiley

Anyway it's not like it's a competition. Last time top 4 coins got accepted, the time before that top 5 were accepted. There's no AC vs UTC going on here (thankfully as I personally want both coins to be listed, as both fully deserve it).

If you're happy with our work on AsiaCoin revival, please consider giving us trust feedback and provide donations to the new AsiaCoin Foundation.

+1 on what Maestro1 said.
let's leave at this and try to focus on mobilizing instead of reporting.

Agreed.
Just noticed that Thiago updated his mining pool to let miners know that they should vote!! That's reaching a current audience of 157 miners. If they want the coin to go up in value to help their meager earnings as is, I'd hope they'd jump on board as well!!

Thanks Thiago!!!! Grin Grin Grin

Coinpayments doesn't need that many votes to get listed. We probably just have to be in the top 5. I saw that some coin won with just 100 votes last time. Anyways, I think that we should instead not focus on coinpayments, but focus more on getting into the Asian and Eastern European markets. This may be untrue, but I have noticed that UTC has focused more on Western Europe and US cryptomarkets. I have yet to see any large support of UTC from Russians or Chinese.

IMHO there's no point in overreacting on that topic.
I was under the same impression looking at previous voting results, that time again multiple currencies may be added.

Anyway, I've just voted, here are updated results:
  • 1st   AC   Asiacoin   37
  • 2nd   UTC   Ultracoin   21
  • 3rd   GRS   Groestlcoin   13
  • 4th   FLT   FlutterCoin   7

Vote number is still on the low, do you know what's the deadline?

I'm a long time UTC small miner and small holder, and not an active member here, I'd like to to take this opportunity to thank the community for what has been done over last months.

I think we have until Saturday. Thanks for the mining support and for popping in for a chat. Love to have more input from you in the future, either here or on ultracointalk.org
Don't forget that there is a mining rig contest about to partake in http://ultracointalk.org/index.php?topic=103.0

According to coinpayments.net, the voting ends on May 31:

The vote ends May 31st at 11:59:59 PM EST, the votes should be released by noon the following day barring any issues.

We have a different deadline for at least part of the UTC giveaway - if we receive 100 votes by this Saturday, UTC will be rewarded. If we receive that many by Wednesday, the prize is larger.

Please note that because so many community members have been so generous today, we will probably be offering multiple prizes. We are working with UltraSmart to figure out the best way to give these donations away, in a way that matches what we promised at first, but also rewards multiple people if possible.

+1 Good points about focus also on Asian and Russian markets

But I believe that our Dev team is also making plans for reaching out to the markets and to marketing out there in Asia and Russia.

Have to say Maestro1 from "that other coin" is smart.

We're also working hard on our diffusion in Asia. We've made plans, we're looking for people who can help us with this (PM if you can help). Ideally we want to have representatives in each Asian country, or at least for each Asian language who can manage coordination and marketing tasks specific to those locations. AsiaCoin will have a great future!

Good deal Maestro, you're right this isn't a competition. And thankfully at least this money is going towards a notable charity. Let's just leave it at that while discouraging rule breaking on both of our ends.

No new votes overnight on CoinPayments, very disappointing. Now at risk of dropping to third place behind a coin no-one has heard of. Current standing:

1. AsiaCoin = 41 (+19)
2. Ultracoin = 22
3. Groestlcoin = 18 (-4)

The core believers have done their bit and can do no more. If you haven't voted please do or post any concerns

A great deal for the Doge community's success comes from that the fact that the community is very willing to donate, to vote and tip people. If we can't even get people to vote for such an important thing as acceptance to a payment processor then I am seriously worried, the cost of voting is next to nothing and the funds will go to charity.

So come on people we all know we can do it!  You want your coins to rise in value? Then let's come together and show the rest that we are as strong as we say we are!  Smiley

Yeah right. It will only cost you 33 UTC and about 5 minutes. Crypto-Trade has lowered the minimum BTC withdrawal to 0.001, so you don't need a BTC wallet. You just have to send 0.002 BTC. Easy as it goes!

At the current cost of BTC (437.14, sad), one vote will cost you 88 cents. Is getting a payment processor worth that to you? I sure hope so. Come on people, VOTE.

Yes, we have. I know there is a message on ultracoinpool.info.

I'm as disappointed as you are. I gave up my whole weekend to work on building a multipool for ultracoin. Its not finished yet, but I sure wonder if its worth my time, if only 22 people in this community really care about the future of UTC.
