Did you make sure to save as .conf under all files
Uploading an update/backup guide
yes, I have saved file as allfiles .conf and i have created it before even starting the walletclient. same thing happenes. when I start cgminer, it just opens, waits a few moments and just closes with message as in posts above. wierd. Does the username and pass has to be same as a Windows usernameand pass? Also, in a wierd way, my wallet now won't connect and sync to the network. I have latest walletclient.

Sounds to me like your conf file isnt correct I had the same issues with the new wallet before I added the .conf What version of CGminer, what cards, what system specs, what drivers, etc need more info. 90% just a syntax error in your config. Also, enter your pool info like this. Username: [PoolUsername].[Worker you created] Pass: [Worker Password] (not your account password) Username and password for what be the same as Windows password? I don't have a password on my windows login and definitely don't use the same username for anything else. You should just start from scratch and follow one of the guides. I have a good one posted, as well as a video guide and dr00g wrote a great auto install scrypt and guide for Linux machines

AWESOME job voting guys! We've moved 2/5 of the way closer to the top on Mintpal! Poloniex. Forgot about that one. Yes its a good exchange. Legit. But low volume The hash-rate is going up up up and we're getting much more attention. Passing coins left and right Keep voting on Mintpal 6 times an hour, and 10 times daily at allcrypt! https://www.mintpal.com/voting http://www.allcrypt.com/beta/voting.phpDoes anyone else get logged out of mintpal every 15 minutes or so?
