where does the 10% of dash block reward go?

I know that it is paid out to developers, marketers... etc...

but where is it stored? to a specific address?

Budget proposals that got enough yes votes to pass will end up in superblocks once a month, which will be paid out to
the payment address that is defined in the budget proposal itself.

So each budget proposal contains a specific Dash payment address.

There was quite a bit of hilarity in polo trollbox last night along those lines. This one made me loose my concentration while trading...

Anything goes in a trollbox, and they've been outdoing themselves with the ETH/ETC circus. Just saw this at Polo:

There's no ignore button so one's eyes drift over to the box for a second, a minute, five minutes. Yikes!

Heh yes, I was being a bit cheeky about how much I wanted a masternode as opposed to expecting a real answer   I doubt I could afford one now!

It gets really hard here to remember who is who, LOL

But the question is actually a pivotal one for me.  I was looking into BitShares because I really liked what they were doing.  But the way their setup works is so easily turned into a good ol boy network, I just couldn't get into it.  Their "masternodes" are people who apply and are approved, not just anyone with collateral.  Sure, it's hard for the average joe to get funds for the MN collateral, however that doesn't matter.  What matters is that ANYONE is ALLOWED to purchase and run a Masternode.

And the services that are out there, of which I know we h ave at least 3, but I think there are 4 reputable companies running services, is not the most ideal in theory, but in practice, their services are still helping a minority number of people who only wish to invest and not run the actual nodes.  So it's hardly a threat to our decentralization.

Frankly it's brilliant and sustainable - creating no good ol boy networks.  God, I love how Evan thinks and how the rest of you awesome guys have helped and contributed to the direction Dash has been going in.  It's been taking the best possible roads and making the wisest decisions.  I think this is a combination of our team's talent as well as the fact that our leader, despite the fact leadership as very much been allocated to many individuals, is not afraid to scrap work already done for a better way. I think he's amazing that way.  He's not married to his first idea and the code he wrote for it.  In fact it seems to be part of his process at working out ideas.

So, yah.  More confessions of a Dash Cheerleader.  Why I can't get excited over any other coin.  Ethereum is making complex contracts possible.  Interesting, but Dash wants to be the worlds monetary medium.  Think on that!  Think of the original hopes and dreams Bitcoin brought to us, but can't deliver.  Now I believe Dash is the only way those hopes and dreams can ever be achieved.  And they coincide with my hopes and dreams for the future, for my kids and future grandkids.

OK Everyone!!!

We have 7 days to vote on the current budget.  I'm especially fond of two that are not currently passing, so if you've voted no on them, please reconsider, or at least give it a chance by reading the comments, thanks!

1st one is the 5th Annual Jackalope Freedom Festival.  It will have around 500 attendees and by sponsoring it, Dash will get a solo backdrop on the stage.  All the events that will be filmed will have that background and will continue to spread the word of Dash long after the festival is over.  There is an outdoor flee type market there, where people are highly encouraged to accept currencies other than fiat.  Most all accept Bitcoin, and with John Bush's Dash Accross America culminating at the festival, we're already set to make a huge splash.  Even the Dash Soda Machine will be there!  Sponsoring the festival would really make a huge end of summer splash.  Please read the comments of the people who know the lady who runs this event.  I know it's expensive, but I think it will make a great bang.

2nd one is the Anonymous usages for Dash Masternode Network.  This is a research project proposed by QuantumExplorer who did most of the porting of the X11 algos to Java, needed for Evolution.  He is our in-house Apple App Man as well.  He has a passion to increase the service Masternodes provide to include a hybrid of Tor and VPN and needs funding to pay for his time on this.  He has to eat after all!  This would involve a lot of work and a lot of time.  The result may "only" be a white paper but it will be a VERY thorough white paper that can be implemented as soon as it's approved.  QE not only has the passion for adding this service to the MN network, as I have, but actually has the skills to DO it!  He is one of Dash's great assets and I'd love for him to be kept busy FOR dash and I'd like to see if this is possible to do, because it'd add real use for Dash as a service that many people are looking for and need!  Bringing more users into Dash is a priority, but we need to provide services to do so, eh?
