Well looks like Dark hopped up a bit again
Kind of a fun asset to watch and keep track of
It certainly did, while it takes only a little to boost the price up even further. The sells are really thin.

It will not take much demand for drk to equal ltc's marketcap. Most of the coins are tightly held.

Not sure if anyone noticed, but I'm giving the Darkcoin wallet a major overhaul and implementing a much more clean, modernized design with the help of Minotaur, raze and LittleFinger. Here's a screenshot of a mock-up, demonstrating the general idea of what the new wallet will look like:

(NOTE: This is just a mock-up, not the final design!)

A lot of major improvements and big things in the works for Darkcoin: the most under-valued crypto-currency on earth!  Wink

The official thread for the UI overhaul can be seen here at DarkcoinTalk.

Regards,

The DRK Lord

If I may, can't we suggest to put all market information on another tab separately from the main information tab?
I personally think it doesn't not give the right message to tie up DRK in such obvious and visible manner to USD (or BTC). It should demoted as 2nd tier information in a specific tab.
But this is just my opinion

Edit: plus it is overwhelming for a peon to see so many numbers and figures on the front page

Yes it should be keep as simple as possible. Maybe there could be an option to show it on the main tab, with it disabled by default?

Agree'd love the layout but have a checkbox or setting to go into advanced mode or something similar. Default to start is basic mode.

I'm not sure if white text on light blue background provides high enough contrast for optimal legibility. Also, there need to be clear vertical dividers for the tabs at the top.

It looks as if the goal was to spice up graphics as much as possible, which should not be the main goal of a wallet. Wallet needs to be clear and simple in appearance.

Disclaimer: This is my personal opinion, if you disagree, then that's fine. Thumbs up to the effort.

Guys, a short question about the wallet.dat that contains the masternode payments and the 1k DRK.
Once i setup the node i stored the wallet.dat on different drives to secure it.
Do i have to update the wallet.dat or can i leaf it alone even when there were 150 mnpayments done.

If your NM is working fine, you don't need to update.

I can remeber fron litecoin-qt that it was recommend to save the wallet.dat after 100 transactions were done,
but normally all data is stored into the blockchain.
