If you want to see prices skyrocket again like above 0.02 the only chance for that is to get new markets like btc-e, Huobi/OKcoin. Maybe after it's open-sourced and whales make some good business to promote it Grin

I disagree. With the darksend amount lifted we can actively promote the coin as a coin. It starts it's actual function as ecash. Time to start approaching people to accept dark. Time for people to realise this really is a cheap price for this coin. Slow and steady growth and increasing news exposure from here. Time to educate, market etc. And while it's cheap- time to stock up. I think there would be a real psychological advantage to having our price above litecoins. Everyone seems happy with Kristov but I also think people concerned with privacy in a more day to day sense should be approached for opinions. Darkcoin isn't about dark markets if people want to use it for that it's their business the same as bitcoin users have in the past.

Basically we need to start thinking of a more sophisticated way of saying this:
Idea for a video for Darkcoin:

1.  Different people holding up their credit card statements and checkbook:

- Person 1: "I bought a 10 inch dildo"
- Person 2: "I just bought my herpes medication"
- Person 3: "My husband and I just booked a trip to Cancun and won't be home for three weeks"
- Person 4: "I just donated to Planned Parenthood and the rest of my family is Pro Life"
- Person 5: "I just purchased three ounces of gold I'm keeping in my home"
- Person 6: "I just purchased a movie that is anti-government"
- Person 7: "I just donated to a politician most of my neighbors hate"
- Person 8: "I just bought tickets to a co-splay convention"
- Person 9: "I collect Magic the Gathering Cards and just bought $1,000 worth"
- Person 10: "I just signed up for chocolatecoveredfeet.com"

And any others the community can come up with.

2.  On the screen comes up, "Your checking account and credit cards are no longer private.  Neither is Bitcoin.  We are proud to present the only privacy centric, ANONYMOUS cryptocurrency:

DARKCOIN

Any marketing should use 'currency' or 'ecash' not 'cryptocurrency.'

I have servers around the world - is there any possibility to be a masternode without 1000 DRK?

Steam is interested in DarkCoins??  Shocked That would be a major thing.  Wink

You can run a masternode on any server with a fix IP without haveing 1000DRK on it.

However it has to be remotly backuped/started by a wallet that holds 1000DRK. The good thing is you can cold store it after your masternode is running.
The 1000DRK however have to stay in that wallet. If you move it out your masternode gets invalid/ inactive.

The Dogecoin team used 'digital currency' on their Nascar. That's a simple and fair description.

After troll trolling, shojayxklt invented the parasite, just parasiting.
This thread is his home...
You don't want to parasitize other thread? Architectcoin for example? F.cking retarded.

Have you just invented a new rank in Crypto?

ParaTroll - Part Parasite, Part Troll...

The new generation have arrived and they brought their own currency...

Not sure if anyone noticed, but I'm giving the Darkcoin wallet a major overhaul and implementing a much more clean, modernized design with the help of Minotaur, raze and LittleFinger. Here's a screenshot of a mock-up, demonstrating the general idea of what the new wallet will look like:

(NOTE: This is just a mock-up, not the final design!)

A lot of major improvements and big things in the works for Darkcoin: the most under-valued crypto-currency on earth!  Wink

The official thread for the UI overhaul can be seen here at DarkcoinTalk.

Regards,

The DRK Lord

oh my Lordy. I want one of those.

Oh my lordy, you sold your eCash, when you should have hodl your eCash
+1 for this wallet. The current design of pretty much every wallet is old.
This should be great.

 Stats du jour

impressive work,
well done

edit: I had lots of half payments lately however, does your graph represent 100% compliant payouts or just non-zero ones, being 10 or 20%?

Words of Wisdom
"I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014

Agree. I don't think we should use 'eCash.' That's a thing from 1995. The eWhatever era is over and sounds dated.

It represents block being paid, does not take under account if these are paid at 10% or 20%.

Impressive work! I see all needed information that darkuser need to operate.
I just want to give a little suggestion about main blue colour. It will be nice if it is more dark blue. White letters will be more readable on darker background. Something like dark blue of the NXT beta wallet screen on first page in DarkcoinTalk wallet forum.

Digital cash?

That's what I was thinking. It still says the same thing as 'eCash' without me thinking I have to dial in to AOL to use it.
