I'm the owner of a masternodes. But i must say with regretfully %10 ratio it was a fair payout.

if you lower the reward, less people will set up masternodes because of the lower profit.
less masternodes means less nodes to secure anonymous coin send/darksend process.
less masternodes means less DRK's taken away from the market; which results in a lower coin price.

of course that shouldn't mean "oh yes, raise the masternode payment ratio to %50 now". balance is important, miners should be rewarded enough to keep them mining. so I think %20 share for masternodes is fair.

long story short; try to get a few masternodes if you find them much more profitable than mining the coin. if you say you don't have money to get enough coins for masternodes, I would say that there is no easy money here for anybody. you have to stake something first to begin making profit over it.

10022 PCS x 4.1 = 41090 Mh/s (41 Gh/s)

41 Gh/s = Diff skyrocket (%50+)

Aproxx mineable DRK = 284,5 / Day (Excluding electricity and cooling costs)

Approx Darkcoin daily now: 2880 DRK (%20 is 576 DRK --MN payments--)

IHMO your aproximation for mineable DRK is wrong:

As you stated 41 Gh/s will skyrocket the network hashrate from currently 66.15 Gh/s to 107 Gh/s
But your 41 Gh/s  is still 38% of overall hashing power then --> 38% of 2304 DRK (80% of 2880 DRK) == 768 DRK expected from mining.

More profitable to invest your $4mn in GPU power than in masternodes  Wink

How about you stop complaining about MNs now?

Sorry, got my "current" from p2pool output  Grin

Ok, even with 82.63 Gh/s current hashrate, we will end up with 82.63 + 41 = 123.6 Gh/s
And 41 Gh/s is still 33% of that 123.6 Gh/s --> 764 DRK mined / day - making GPU investment 33% more profitable than masternode investment

So what's your point?

Proof has not a damn thing to do with it. Privacy becomes important once you've had to deal with that shit. Too many people insist on learning the hard way with the "I have nothing to hide" idiocy. You let The State into your affairs, they'll "find" whatever they want to find.

"I have nothing to hide"

Big data and data mining means that the privacy you thought you had is/will be gone.

Let's say you bought a digital watch with alarm and a flashlight recently, and an already terrorist suspect bought some fertilizer. Then your phones' location data shows that you happened to be at the same pizzeria at the same time for 30 minutes (or you both paid your pizza using Bitcoin).
=> big data says you're suspected terrorist and puts you on a high risk list
=> you won't be getting an insurance or credit card or loan from a bank, you wouldn't get a job or might lose your job if it is a job that requires clean background etc

And even if you're not living in such a country yet, you'd be prevented from getting into one when traveling, or worse, arrested at the airport.

And all this thinking "you had nothing to hide".

671 active masternodes x 1000 DRK = 671.000 DRK x $6 = $4.026.000

Sapphire Radeon 7950 100352-3L price is $309

(I'm thinking of other equipment (Mothercoards, HDDs, CPU etc.) and downed price % 30)

$4.026.000 / 1.3 = $3096923 / $309 = 10022 pcs Radeon 7950

874 Kh/s Radeon 7950 Scrypt performance = 4.1 Mh/s for X11

10022 PCS x 4.1 = 41090 Mh/s (41 Gh/s)

41 Gh/s = Diff skyrocket (%50+)

Aproxx mineable DRK = 284,5 / Day (Excluding electricity and cooling costs)

Approx Darkcoin daily now: 2880 DRK (%20 is 576 DRK --MN payments--)

In your opinion a fair system?

Source: Coinwarz, Whatmine, Coinpolice, 5limi pool, Darkcointalk

I quit reading after the 7950 doing 874kh scrypt and extrapolating 4.1mh X11.

Any tips on the best path forward for Darkcoin acceptance and integration?

We are planning to add Darkcoin as an additional crypto-currency to our new gaming site https://win88.me

When the 10 DRK limit is lifted, we should start marketing DRK to merchants with full force.

I guess raising MN rewards to 50% is good against multipools.
Furthermore, the less miners darkcoin has, the more block reward they get, right?

I wonder why the price is going down with rc4 epicness around the corner
multipools dumping drk to buy other coins...thats all...some panic holders gaining profits... ppl don`t have balls like I wrote before to hold a bit.... we have RC4 right behind the corner and they sell...what empty thinking is it he?

Market is at standstill, those who have decided that DRK will have real world usage have already secured their positions, and those who are in it to "trade" can't really trade as the volume is so small. It's hard to spread the word to outside those already in the know until real world adoption is actually possible (i.e. the 10 DRK limit is lifted). After that, the price will take care of itself and attract traders again.

Because this troll got traction and we didn't call him on it immediately.

You actually think the fall in price is due to little ole me?

Or maybe we can make that dynamic for the MN payment too.

This is the best project in crypto----DarkCoin. Time will tell and don't blame you miss it.

Why do you think so?

Furthermore, the less miners darkcoin has, the more block reward they get, right?

This is not specific to Darkcoin, but to all cryptos:

Hashrate affects difficulty, difficulty affects block reward, block reward affects miners, miner affects hashrate. This is called a feedback loop.

Yup it all really starts once the 10 dark limit is lifted. Then everyone can promote the coin actively.
50% fak off.. it'll stay 20. There are other x11 coins more profitable right now so most multi pools will go after them.
Sometimes we are the most profitable sometimes not. And due to the reward structure we are less susceptible to multi pools than most coins. A little bit more demand and we'd be climbing again.

MN payments are already dynamic as the block reward is dynamic. When the difficulty lowers MN get payed more too.
