Pool ready mining (proportional, stratum only, vardiff, 1% fee, dedicated servers):

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

So are transactions made with this wallet anonymous or not?

Not yet. I have some proof-of-concept code that I'm working on in testnet for that.

Can anyone tell me what the going rate is?
I've got some offers but they seem a bit high to me.
Thanks

I sold to a couple of guys at 1 XCO|DRK = 0.000025 BTC, no idea about others. Also you can always try to negotiate, especially when buying larger amounts.

I sold exactly double of that, and did more than 5 trades

This is definitely an interesting coin that I will keep an eye on! Shall I post about it on HolyNerdvana.com, or leave it be for a bit longer? I've switched all my CPUs from Frozen over to Darkcoin, so hopefully it ends up paying off for me. Certainly this coin has a lot more potential than FZ and QRK, though the potential for botnet mining is always the trouble with CPU-based coins. The good news is that at least for the time being the hashing power is relatively low. :-)

it works perfectly here, and several other ppl also have it running, go look through the pages.

if all else fails, download his xcoin-miner from same github, and use that, that one compiles on almost everything, but is not that optimised...

I am having problems, too.

The miner compiles with no problems if you have a recent version of Ubuntu. I have compiled it under Ubuntu 13.10 (gcc 4.8 ) without any problem.

But I have other machines running CentOS 6.x, In these machines I am unable to compile the "optimized" versions of the miner (1.1 and 1.2). I think this is due to gcc version included with that distro (gcc 4.4). The "optimized" miners require at least gcc 4.6 in order to be compiled properly.

I have not found a solution so far. The only (easy) solution is to run the "basic" version of the miner, or to mine another different coin on your RedHat / CentOS machines.
