Also, I did have 20 cores, and I thought the rate was small... do I have the wrong settings?

running 10 aws 32 cores will bring you 20 coins for 1 hour, IF you run it at a big pool.. and that is max, look at pool on drk.coinmine.pl and you will get an idea of what i mean

-t 8 mean use 8 cores, just leave it out.... it should use max cores then, but no, wait until the whale takes off

You rent servers fo $ you can buy one server for 1h,day,month mining.
