The DarkcoinTalk Mining Pool has been updated to the latest version.

Friendly reminder, the pool fee is 1% compared to other major mining pools of 2%.

Anyways, happy mining and nice work on the port to the Bitcoin codebase devs!

Like yesterday?

Nice 24h steady rise from 60sh to 64sh and in one second and one big dump : back to the 60sh (with a stop to 55...).
The good point is that after a 15K dump we are still really faking stable..

Lets see what's happening with Bitcoin.

The 4-hour chart is looking like this (each bar represents 4 hours of time. If it's green then the price at the start of the 4 hour period was less than the price at the end. If it's red, the reverse applies - the price was less at the end of that 4 hour period than at the beginning).

We don't look like we're plummeting to double digits.

Folks must recall the sectors for crypto:

Bitcoin 1.0: Pure currencies
Bitcoin 2.0: Assets

We are a bitcoin 1.0 sector. So don't compare DRK with, say NXT or BTS or RIPPLE etc. All those are great projects but are not in the eBTC 1.0 "pure currency" sector. They are Bitcoin 2.0 (Assets). (Ripple might be but I've got not one cent invested in Ripple and haven't even bothered to look at it because Ripple seems to me to be a private sector collusion with banks. Don't knock it because it may provide a bridge for banks to get involved with blockchains.....we wish  Cheesy )

I dont know...

Starting to think that this recent bump in BTC price might have been another bear trap. 4Hr trendline is still pointing downwards. I remember someone else saying we can drop to the low hundreds, and I think we might. If there is any big volume selling in the 190's downwards, it's, imo, another bear attack.

I agree don't think we're out of the woods yet, and the bears are still hungry

I've just had a look back through the thread and I can't find the block number when the DRK block reward will be reduced.

It should be any day now shouldn't it?  Maybe 16th or 17th Jan?
