No actually, just moving between wallets. I'm sure I had to wait 40 mins for 1 confirmation earlier.

I need to sleep, they can come to me if they like, np, the bid walls aren't going anywhere, it's 3AM & I'm up early to start trans continental travels tomorrow, well that's later this week but I leave home in a few hours to start the voyage.

Thing is you need big players to be committed as they then have the incentive to help give Dark the critical kick it needs for mass adoption and general takeover... Which , if and when this happens, otoh will be able to easily slowly extract himself (if he so desires)..

He may just intend to live off his masternode income!

At these prices though now is certainly the time to be base building, I have a feeling Dark will become big news again quite soon this year...

Last six block happened in the last 1 hour and 10 minutes, nothing really unusual, but there is one that took 40 min... I guess bad luck. I read a lot about blocks taking longer because their difficulty takes longer to adjust, but I don't see it happening. Probably because most hashing power can't be repurposed and they can still pay the electricity.

If someone is using cryptoID blockchain explorer please don't get scared by their info, they have just updated and had to resync the full blockchain, so it will take them a while to be fully functional.

Looks like btc-e is delisting some low volume coins. I think it's a good sign they are doing any movement.
Isn't it a good time to send them some emails about adding DRK?

The latest shift for the Darkcoin multipool paid out over 70 DRK.

Still need more hash for Scrypt &  more importantly X11 algo. If you're looking for a new home for your X11 hash, bring it over! On average, you'll make the same if not more DRK and you'll help push the price of DRK up. A big jump in SHA256, thanks a bunch. Keep it up!

Cheers!

Big Ballin...

[13:02:16] Found block for solo!
[13:02:16] Accepted 8d8e2f91 Diff 119k/4.85k BLOCK! GPU1

Got tired of having to spend hours unclusterfing the wallet due to p2pool payments bloating the wallet.dat so switched to solo mining.  p2pool... nice concept, horrible implementation.

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014

Some of the posts on the XPY thread are hilarious, when will people stop chasing the latest scam coin, it really amazes to see some of the faces taking schemes like that seriously...

With all respect, but i cant watch bitcoinrush, is there a single person who finds host appealing? I lasted precisely 2 minutes...

ok, I think I'll have to pipe up here.

Taking a theatrical approach to what is otherwise a very informative show is always going to be controversial because we're used to a 'binary world' where fact is fact and fiction is fiction and where documentaries are presented as straight dialog and theatre is reserved for entertainment. (Another one I always avoid is madbitcoins....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CiHebmis5YU I just can't take the slapsticking around and feel it gets in the way of the information).

But if you think about it, that's quite a square way of looking at things.

I think it reflects just as much on us as an audience as it does the content because it shows how we are programmed from birth to see the world with a binary mindset - good/evil, fact/fiction, truth/lies, comedy/documentary.

Although I share the reservations of many about this type of approach, I admire the attempt to avoid lapsing into this "square paradigm". It isn't easy to do this type of thing well and I think, despite people's reservations about the character, it's been well produced, is informative and a bit whacky.

It has challenged people's mindsets - not only about cryptocurrencies but about other aspects of communication as well. That's a good thing.

So I'm going against the grain and giving this a thumbs up I'm afraid. I remember feeling like this about Monty Python's because it just didn't "fit" my idea of what comedy was back than. But in passing it over look what a gem I missed. Took me another 25 years to start appreciating it by the time I got loose enough with myself  Wink Now I love it.

It is what it is and whatever it is, an original work that's had a lot of effort and attention to detail put into it is worth a thousand made-to-measure hollywood shows in my book.

You never know - it might become a classic in years to come !

I'm going to be bold and say I think it will.

I think Darkcoin will reach $15 again in 2015.

InstantX, Darksend, increased merchant adoption, robust masternode network...goodness knows what else our mega team of devs is going to pull out of the bag.

I think we could do with some penetration into China and the far east and we need BTC to have a reasonably good year (which I think it will).
