Darkcoin show its online:
THE Darkcoin show - featuring Evan Duffield
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lzu_02-lp7o

That was one of the weirdest, creepiest things I've seen in a bit and it was 100% related to the host and the camera-switching format.
Evan though came across as a natural and was awesome! This should be a good pre-pre-precursor to Evan going live on Bloomberg TV soon.
JL

+1 I think Evan comes across great and very natural so well done Evan.

I cant stand the host and his bow tie, seems very amateurish and robotic as a presenter and speaks as if he is reading one word at at time from script.. I would have preferred a different host with those great animations.

Lets hope we can get Max or Bloomberg interviews Tongue

I think that Evan would do better in just a straight interview scenario.
He's certainly telegenic. Articulate, smart, and that enthusiasm just shines through. I'd love to see him on something like the Keiser Report.

I was thinking the same thing.

Tao - Get Into The Dark: Spam Max and Stacey and they will get Evan on the show.

Bloomberg TV is also one to go for: I'm on it (not actually on Bloomberg TV, but gonna spam the producers with a few emails  Grin).

Re: Bloomberg TV: Tweet @mattmiller1973. He knows what Darkcoin is already and could have some persuasion with producers.
Very good idea! I have tweeted these three folks with a link to the show and asked if they would like to have Evan on. I will keep you posted if I hear anything!

I just watched the show, I think that, by Bitcoin Rush standards, it was very good.  I don't like the style of the host either but that is kind of his signature and the reason I am not a viewer of his shows. Having said that, I think this was directed at the people that are not part of the Darkcoin community that do watch his shows, so I  am happy that whoever is part of his regular audience will now be informed about DRK. For us, who are already part of the community, it is just fun to watch Evan and the animations, etc, but we are not really the target audience since we are already here.

I hope people that don't know about DRK yet watch it and find out more about the project. Thank you everybody who worked so hard on this, it was really good work and you can tell how better this episode is compared to other bitcoin rush episodes. Thanks.

Agreed. Not my cup of tea, but as has been often said, "There is no such thing as bad publicity." This won't stop anyone from buying into DRK, but surely will peak the interest of many who have yet to hear. It is easy for those of us who are familiar with DRK, and who see its potential, to forget what a small group we really are. As a result each of us has a vastly more influential role to play than we realize. Get to work people!

Hehe yep that Bitcoin Rush guy is a total space cadet but I think that's part of his brand.

It's an interesting angle, I wonder if it will catch on...

Yep, that's what I was thinking Crouton... Max Keiser is already a fan of Darkcoin so you would think it's only a matter of time... Maybe one of the team could reach out to him once instant transactions are working on mainnet? Getting Evan on Keiser Report would be HUGE. Here in the UK his show is popular but more importantly his global viewing figures are massive, we're talking tens of millions and his audience's demographic is a perfect fit with Darkcoin's target market. It would get the message out to the right people...

When I search "CActiveMasternode::ManageStatus() - Could not find suitable coins!" I get this page of the code.

https://github.com/darkcoin/darkcoin/blob/master/src/activemasternode.cpp

The note says "Bootup the masternode, look for a 1000DRK input and register on the network." Do you have a single input of 1k DRK in your address? I really don't know anything about the code, just guessing.

Averaging less than 1 coin per day since last October which seems normal.

Also, that masternode has been running during times when the total population was a way down at 400-500 so it would have received a higher proportion of the mining supply during those periods.

EDIT: As a comparison, one of mine's been up since 31st December and has received 8 coins: http://explorer.darkcoin.fr/address/XngUt5CEttJkDBVvMUfqb2okdYmUMEa1k6

On the other hand that one has received 14 coins over the same period so it does seem quite lucky.

ok - I changed my mind, I agree with you  Wink

(My other one has also received exactly 8 coins so they seem consistent: http://explorer.darkcoin.fr/address/XqgpzGgq4MqhsMTPLXimWy6gsBjXN6LeS1 )

What would you advise me? I have several hundred LTC and I do not know what to do with them. Will lift you LTC to keep it or to exchange it for DARK?
Thanks!

He is a legend... He should just let people sell into him though, just move up gradually, no rush, maximise his masternode numbers then. His DRK monthly income will be scary.
