How can you be so sure? It's called trust and respect. Those things can be earned through one's actions you know?  Actually I don't think that selling for profit or taking advantage of price swings can be a reason for losing trust and respect. Of course unless he didn't lie about it which I don't remember. If he has any coins it's entirely up to him what to do with them. The whole "if you sell you are a bad person" talk is usually spread by scamcoin communities to encourage people to hold while the insiders dump for profit. I don't mean Dash to be clear. |

See where it gets you. Maybe if you troll hard enough, an actual usable wallet will magically appear for your own coin!
You could have had a major investor with me, but that ship has sailed. I wonder how many others there are like me that mostly read but don't post often that think the same way I do. I suspect it's more than a handful. It's time, Adam. Time for you and your ragtag group of full-time trolls to reconsider the negative impact you are having on Monero. Sophisticated investors - the ones that have the potential to make or break a project - do extensive research anyway. In the end, practical solutions win. Innovation wins. Trolling has only gotten you so far... nowhere. Again, if you spent 1/10th the time devoloping ideas for Monero and helping with the development as you spent here, you would be much better off.

I suppose that depends what you define as the 'scope' of the protocol. The masternode network are simply peers of the regular network which operate in a an alternate logic mode. Thats why they're often referred to as a second 'tier', or 'tier 2'. Their function is 'protocol level' enough to be subject to the condition of mining majority for successful adoption which I think is the significant criteria in that respect. As far as I know, it's impossible to have a cryptocoin which doesn't have public balances for addresses Doesn't Cryptonote do that ? In Cryptonote the balances are not public. Yup, I think they go only by transaction number? Or am I remembering incorrectly? It's a super confusing Blockchain explorer. I decided above all else, that cryptonote will likely never work because the amount of information each transaction has to be run through is going to become such a large database, it will slow down so badly that it will become a slug. I can't see how they can possibly trim any of it. They say they can, but I have other issues I can't figure out, and I've tried. Still, no gui, a bloated block chain and no real developers working on it makes me think that if it's ever workable, it'll be 20 years in the future. Being about 3/4 the age of Dash, almost 5 times the size blockchain, and far far fewer people using it (meaning not nearly as many transactions going through as Dash), their blockchain issues are massive. question: What % of the number of transactions are darksend transactions? I want to know this, because fungibility depends on it... I learned that monero has mixing by default. What's more, mixing can be done client side (and even offline). So I want to know how DASH compares... I mean, XMR tech seems to be solid, but DASh clearly has the first mover advantage and also offers other things like InstantX and a GUI. So for now I'll stick to DASh as long as the tech is usable and not flawed |

Cryptsy have returned 2,886 LTC that I had on them over a week ago, just 70 odd BTC to go which it now looks like will be forthcoming shortly, so with the DASH that I was previously able to withdrawal that will be all of my > $50,000 bid wall funds safely returned, many thanks for those who wished for a good outcome in this and a big GFY to the haters who can only try and find some small thrill in the possible misfortune of others, to them - all that you wish on others will one day come back to you and many times over, try and learn from it and be less (self) destructive going forward perhaps.
