You must be joking. Finance is about as far away from my professional vocation as you could get. I see money an information system, and analyse it as such which is just an alternative slant. Academically my background is in aeronautical engineering and professionally it's in business systems analysis & software development.
 

Thats great...I've been reading your posts for a long time and I can see now what you mean by an alternative slant.  Its much appreciated by those of us out there that know little on this topic.

If GOXtsy didn't scare them out of crypto completely, they may want to rebuy their Dash stockpile

Are people seriously claiming that Cryptsy just sold off deposits ? Who are these depositors ? Why are people not going berserk ?

The class action is for $5 million right enough but I find it amazing that folks can leave funds on there having had such an epic amount of warning for months in advance.

Maybe most of that 456.5K amount is from Cryptsy themself ? bought in an early stage to maintain Dash liquidity on their exchange ?
They have been trading Dash a long time, from the very beginning i think ? Or maybe its from those first miners that mass dumped

It appears to be part of the stolen coins from Cryptsy... which reaks of being an inside job...

I've calculated the total to be $12.7mil (on July 29, 2014), including the confirmed BTC/LTC, and unconfirmed Dash/DOGE... I don't know if any other altcoins were stolen (total could be higher)

I think the class action was started before any figures were known, so they just guessed $5 million by the number/size of the complaints?

It is so sad to hear that cryptsy has been selling peoples dash stack in order to artificially keep their business running...
Even I lost with cryptsy... but

Hopefully now we will have the natural rise to where dash belongs!
