That looks awsome. History in the making.
How come it's taken this long for someone to such a simple demonstration of the power of crypto. Just think - this is not possible using a phone with regular money. You need a bank in the middle.
(And you can't do it with bitcoin without
flaky 0-conf [Or a 'bank' in the middle A.K.A. The Lightning Network

It's quite simple tok...
Decentralised Governance By Blockchain. DGBB.
These guys submitted a proposal to pull off this project. The community agreed. They got funded. They got the means to achieve an end.
Time and resources are expensive, both of which detrimental to success.
Others have great ideals and mouths full of promises, but either they don't deliver, present sub-par solutions, or take forever into obsoleteness.
Put your money where your mouth is. If this project failed to deliver, Solarminer and Camosoul would never in a gzillion years get funded ever again. They put not only their Dash at stake, but also their entire reputation at stake for this vending machine project.
This little "party trick" has the potencial to do more for public awareness and consumer confidence than anything else so far. Remember that we, forumites, are merely a spec in the vast crypto financial investment sphere. This is real, it's tangible, and will carry over in people's psyche long after the Miami conference is over.
With this note, please let me take the time to write an open letter to the community.
In the past, I've had numerous heated discussions with Camosoul. Precisely in this very forum, and darkcoin veterans know what I'm on about... While we both agreed, or agreed to disagree, on infinite subjects, we've always had an existencial clash. Our demeanours are polarly opposites and inevitably we've had a few 'boxing' matches between us.
None the less, that is beauty of life. If we were all exactly same minded, life would seriously suck. I'm extremely proud to be part of this community, and what has been achieved in these past 2 years. Thank goodness for it's diversity of thought and diligence in opinion. Camo and Solarm's project fill me with pride, and I salute you both gentlemen!
Through continuous trial and error we've all helped Evan express his creativity. This soda machine is a prime expression of it. Two years of obsessive code writing by our devs permitted it.
If at this point anyone reading this still has any doubts about the solidity of this project, either you've yet to have done your due diligence in it's proper extent, or you're lost in the noise that is the "alt market". I sincerely invite you to invest in the former.
The way Dash solves most, if not all, of Bitcoin's problems, is nothing less than spectacular.
