Have been seeing some proposals that look really interesting but some people think everything is a scam unless it comes from the core team. How about the Core interviews the proposals contributors to make shure it is not a scam and can OK the project if they trust that they can deliver, most people want to make a anonymous contribution, might be highly skilled but dont want dash to be on theyr CV for some reason. After vetting the individual there could be a stamp of approval from the devs or something like that.

I used to read about dash long time ago and I'm very impressed it's still going strong :O
Any major innovations planned for near future?

After vetting the individual there could be a stamp of approval from the devs or something like that. It almost sounds like there is a need for 2 types of proposals. One to show interest, and one to use funds. While we have seen some that have done this through the current system, people get confused and think they are looking to fund the entire proposal. There are many ways of doing this, maybe a UI tweak, or something to identify the type of proposal. Once interest has been achieved it would be in the best interest of the dev group to help sponsor or voice an approval of a proposal. Just a thought!

https://www.dash.org/evolution/Dash Evolution creates a new type of cryptographic currency with various advanced features that assist in the creation of decentralized technology. Dash introduces a tiered network design, which allows users to do various jobs for the network, along with decentralized API access and a decentralized file system.
We will be writing the software for this project in stages, the first stage will take about 2 months to have a very early prototype for Dash Evolution that includes a basic implementation of DashDrive, Primitives, DAPI and a simple T3 wallet. In six to eight months, we should be entering testnet phase with most basic functionality. In 12-18 months, we plan for the first release version (a stable prototype).
Included below is our current work on Evolution, that adds many components such as:
•DashDrive – A decentralized shared file system that lives on the second tier network •DAPI – A decentralized API which allows third tier users to access the network securely •DashPay Decentralized Wallets – These wallets are light clients connected to the network via DAPI and run on various platforms •Second Tier – The masternode network, which provides compensated infrastructure for the project •Budgets – The second tier is given voting power to allocate funds for specific projects on the network via the budget system •Governance – The second tier is given voting power to govern the currency and chart the course the currency takes •Quorum Chain – This feature introduces a permanent stable masternode list, which can be used to calculate past and present quorums •Social Wallet – We introduce a social wallet, which allows friends lists, grouping of users and shared multisig accounts.
Also a lot of partnerships / integrations are being forged and there is a focus on FIAT Gateways : https://www.dash.org/forum/topic/official-announcements.54/

It's taken over two years of hard work by a very dedicated community but we're within a whisker of our all-time high market cap in USD terms... Just thought I'd mention it...! Walter

One of the reasons I remain invested is that over the last 2 years, Dash has demonstrated that it is functionally focused. That means turning itself into a tool - like a spanner - for people and for business. A monetary tool, not trainspotter porn. b.t.w. on another subject, I used to think that the OBV metric was only any use at very long ranges - e.g. 1-day or 1-week. But in Dash's case there are these two markets: currency and reserve. You can see demand for the reserve market specifically, manifesting in the short range OBV chart with massive temporary deviations from the moving average *. (Or you can just check the volume bars if you're not interested in the more diverse aspects of trading analytics. The only problem with volume bars though is that they don't show you the directional balance of the volume movement in context unless you take the time to work it out for yourself). P.S. When I wrote this commentary on Duffenomics, the 'reserve market' (amount of Dash invested in securing the network infrastructure and earning a return as such) was 55% of the coin supply at that time. It is now 60%. What are the implications of that ? They are that BOTH Dash's currency market and reserve markets have grown independently of each other. Demand for a fixed income investment has grown (because the coin supply invested in that market has increased from 3.2 million Dash to 4 million). Demand for a speculative investment has grown since the price of the traded supply has risen (it could have fallen, even though the reserve market grew, since supply is only one half of the equation) Here is the full context. * I made an assumption there. Of course I don't know that that particular trade was destined for masternode collateral. But given Dash's low liquidity, markets, high volume speculative trades are less likely to be executed as abruptly and with as much price movement as straight buys into the reserve market IMO

tok, you are such a fundamentals guy with your investment I made my crypto-holdings on pump and dumps with no fundamentals. I then invested those holdings in an asset with fundamentals. It's only because I spent so much time trading one that I recognised the other. Ask Tantestafania. She never even bothered with the first step, such is her innate insight.
