Looks like I should have sold when I initially thought. Dash could keep dropping and hen buy back in. Looks like a traders pump and dump. Missed the boat. It could drop back to 0.01

It could drop back to 0.01 I am not sure what you guys are looking at, but Dash is making fundamental progress, which is what matters. There will always be some profit taking and corrections. I doubt the correction will go anywhere near what you would expect in a typical crypto though. In the end progress is what slowly keeps making the difference. It could drop back to 0.01 For me it's still not too late but it's a tough decision It's a tough decision, and if you really believe in Dash, a scary one. Yes, we've seen this before, recently in early 2015 when we hit .0245. If you had sold everything then and bought back six months later at .0055, you'd have made a fortune. For me, the risk is always "What if this is the real thing?" Sure could be just a pump...but one of these days, with the fundamental work we're doing on Dash (as Daniel mentioned), we're going to experience a revaluation rather than a pump. Maybe that's happening now, or maybe it happens in a year...but one of these days we're going to sail past $15 and just keep going. I'd hate to be wrong about that one. Sell at $15 and rebuy at $8 and you like look a genius. Sell at $15 and FOMO back in at $40 (or worse, never buy back in, as you wait for a correction that never comes), and not so much...

LE46: Doing Business with the Dash Blockchain w/ Amanda B JohnsonTopics covered in this episode include:-Ron Paul and the Modern Freedom Movement -Why “money” and “economics” are important to achieving personal liberty -Evolution of Crypto-currencies (Bitcoin vs Dash) -How Amanda became the first-ever podcast/vblog to get funding DIRECTLY from a blockchain (and why this is a necessary step towards crypto-economic longevity).
Tip Liberty Entrepreneurs with Dash! XyJPi91jEW6Zqz6qXX1qxzqpqDhUwhT3gf (or Bitcoin)1KraNMPw7QMaaLmHsiMj57QKq9GHvZLKgh Amanda B Johnson started down the rabbit-hole of libertarianism and voluntaryism in 2011. At the time she was struggling to find work and became really interested in what caused the economy to become so crappy. She heard about a guy named Ron Paul who was running for President and was shocked when he sounded like he was speaking the truth. With her new found enthusiasm, Amanda started creating liberty related, Ron Paul videos on Youtube and quickly gathered following. She became fascinated with money and economics and the role they play in pursuit of personal freedom and wanted to share her new found perspective with the world. In 2013, Amanda encountered Bitcoin. Like many of us, she read and studied it with passion and eventually wrote blog posts for several large Bitcoin publications including Bitcoin Magazine, CoinTelegraph, Bitcoin.com. In late 2015, Amanda started a YouTube series entitled The Daily Decrypt, which discussed the currency competition and evolution taking place in the crypto space. Read more... Thanks, for this. Just finish it. So refreshing hearing smart people speaking about smart things Thank you Amanda, thank you Ashe. Edit : @Blazin8888 please listen to it, you'll surely learn lots of things, and you'll go to sleep less stupid tonight

From an outsiders perspective, I dont see a place for DASH in the future. The average joe does not give a fuck about bitcoin as it is. I can tell you they wont care about DASH. Right now XMR is about to be used by dnm's across tor. There is a legit use case for it. Bitcoin is the future not DASH. DASH is a great coin and idea however I dont see it working long term. I remember when this was called DarkCoin. After reviewing this code and having my peers review it for the past 4 months I can tell you XMR is much more secure in many different ways. DASH will remain a hobby coin. It makes more sense for someone operating a DNM to hold XMR. Also I know you all are not targeting that crowd anyways hence the name change from Darkcoin to DASH. I think that is a huge issue. There is really no real use case for DASH when BTC is being used for day to day transactions all over. I have been living on BTC since 2011. I have had 0 issues with this. In reality I see BTC as digital gold, STEEM as digital social network tokens with savings accounts built in, XMR will be used by darknet, SafeCoin will be a great place to store data and eventually markets from Tor will migrate over. SafeCoin + XMR will have much synergy due to XMR current tor integration. Anyways with all that said DASH is a interesting project with heavy marketing tactics good luck to you all.
LOL. This wall of text made me very happy. This motivates me more than any cat ever could. Keep bringing the doubts, we'll keep knocking them down! Keep focusing on the darknet, let us focus on the world economy. Cheers!

Looks like the Dash price still has some power behind it, the little beauty! I just wish I'd been able to acquire more faster. I was hoping to buy another 30 over the next few weeks but I can't afford them at this price. Yet in a few months time the price could have doubled again.... anyway, Go Dash!! Its rise to success is a pleasure to watch however many I'm holding

I wonder why that well-written advert doesn't include the fact that XMR's encryption is NSA-approved? Why wouldn't you want to use an NSA-approved encryption technology on the darknet?
Actually, the NSA enforce its copyright so there is basically no chance cryptonote is a NSA project gone rouge and the encryption used everywhere in Bitcoin and DASH is " NSA-approved", Monero also use AES in the hashing algo, I'll tell you what is not NSA-approved: the Monero's elliptic curve (25519) that is responsible for safeguarding the funds (generating the privatekey). Now time for the interesting part: Bitcoin uses the Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA) for signing transactions. This is how you use your private key to “prove” you own the bitcoins associated with your address. ECDSA keys are derived from elliptic curves that themselves are generated using certain parameters. NIST has been actively recommending that everyone use the secp256r1 parameters because they “are the most secure”. However, there appears to be some funny business with secp256r1 that is eerily similar to the backdoor in Dual_EC_DRBG.
Thanks to the heroic work of Edward Snowden we now know that Dual_EC_DRBG was developed by the NSA, with the backdoor, and given to NIST to disseminate. The scary part is that RSA Security, a company that develops widely used commercial encryption applications, continued use of Dual_EC_DRBG all the way up to the Snowden revelations despite the known flaws. Not surprising this brought a lot of heat on RSA which denies they intentionally created a honeypot for the NSA. DASH - NSA-approved backdoors, courtesy of Bitcoin. Do you actually read what you post? Seriously? This article also links here, a great read. Obviously you haven't read any of it: https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/satoshis-genius-unexpected-ways-in-which-bitcoin-dodged-some-cryptographic-bullet-1382996984You didn't have to go very far into the article you linked to read : "All of this has been known for several months. What I didn’t know until reading Vitalik Buterin’s recent article Satoshi’s Genius: Unexpected Ways in which Bitcoin Dodged Some Crytographic Bullets, is that a variant of an algorithm used in Bitcoin likely also contains a NSA backdoor, but miraculously Bitcoin dodged the bullet." So even if the rest of that article or Vitalik's article were too far over your head, that basic paragraph should be clear enough for even you to understand. I'm going to include the ending of the article so anyone now worried but can't get through the "techno jargan": When Dan Brown, the current chairman of the Standards for Efficient Cryptography Group, was asked about this, he replied: "I did not know that BitCoin is using secp256k1. Indeed, I am surprised to see anybody use secp256k1 instead of secp256r1 (the version that has a back door)." If secp256r1 is actually compromised, then since Bitcoin is one of the few applications that is using secp256k1 instead of secp256r1, Bitcoin has truly dodged a bullet
