RE: New Windows CPU Miner

I'm working on it now....

How's it going?  Grin

Sorry, I give up for today. I asked now to ig0tik3d to release Windows binaries, because I had problems with configuring the right crosscompiling environment. I spent all day from a problem to another...

Anyway, for all people that wants CPU mining still alive... I think that there is a margin to improve  the cpu miner. GPU miner for now I see that it's not so much more efficient, so I'll try to go more near to khs/W of the GPU miner.

Just, I dont mine because I have just an old notebook, so, if you are interested, a little encouragement can speed the work Wink
2 persons, that I thanks very much, gave me a tip for this improved version of the cpu miner.

If you have more % revenue considers to bounty some % of the % to who works at this coin, of course to who you prefer, the Developer of the Coin, or the marketer, or the GPU miner developer, or the binaries releaser ect ect.. Smiley

yeah let make the CPU still alive and improve it...
If you say that you only improved 1 of the 11 type and we already gain 20%.. I think we can continue cpu..

I'll give you tips with new version ( I've gor only 400 DRK so i'll not be so much ... jejeje)

So I publicly claim that 10% of my income goes to elmad. I'll try to do it daily. For as long as mining covers my expenses for server rent. I propose elmad himself to distribute this income over the people who take part in optimizations (specifically, ig0tik3d). I call upon those who want to see CPU mining alive to support this incentive. 5-10% is not much if you get performance increase of 20% or more. Even 0.5% would help. There are a many of us!

Let the CPU vs GPU battle begin!

That's what you get when gpu miners start popping up.

Yes but Net Hash is only 1,5 Mh. I remember that with the whale it was > 2 M and we never rise this dificulty...

So the last modification they made with if diff >= 75 then I don't know what.. Should be take in account what should be the result of that modification???

Maybe I'll stop my rented instance NOw....

Same for me... Still not working... :
Error -11: Building Program (clBuildProgram)
calclCompile failedError: Creating kernel search failed!

Update your Catalyst drivers if you have some old version.
Run sgminer with --debug and show me the console output.

I'm getting the same error... Using 2x6990, latest drivers (13.350.1005.0).

Your not alone, same thing for me also

There's no battle to speak of. Hashing is much better suited to GPU's however you stretch it.

I was mining them when you could still get a decent amount mining with CPUs and was still buying on the side lol!

Is there anywhere I can find the basic command lines that are needed to compile and run the GPU miner on BAMT, SMOS or failing that even Ubuntu?

Shocked 741MHs out of a total 1111MHs network hash is over at one pool DarkCoin.  Guess all the GPU miners are going to the same spot, lol.
just a suggestion, maybe a pool with >51% should stop accepting new members until it has equalised truout the other pools, for the prosperity of darkcoin it is always best that no pool has more than 50% of all hashing power
