I almost started to worry I won't be able to buy back cheaper after my sellout yesterday. Somehow a relatively quick 200% profit just wouldn't cut it for me in this case. I want to hold a masternode worth of DRK regardless off the daily price.

4 DRK? I'm at a couple thousand lost right now. Think I will never trade DRK again, I have nothing but terrible luck with it. This market just doesn't make any sense to me and seems to operate against all logic. No news - price doubles. RC2 testing - price drops 30%. I'll just hold what I have left and forget trying to make more from trading it. edit : market aside DRK is a great coin and really the only one I care to deal with long term, but F day trading it.

People who are trading and/or pumping it probably don't even know about RC2.. or RC1 or masternodes for that matter.

I'm sorry but am I the only one here who, when looking at the Max chart for Darkcoin is not completely freaked out?!?!
A major, major correction is bound to happen at any moment. The coin literally shot straight up, and if you look at any other coin, or stock for that matter, what goes up must and always does come down.
I know I'll be called a hater, and a lot of people will be very vocal about how wrong I am and this coin will continue to rise and rise and rise forever, but really. This sucker is a ticking time bomb.
I got a feelin' things are gonna get pretty bloody pretty damn soon.

Ps. New Twitter Account Everyone! @Stratobitz Follow for buy sell tips, rumors I've heard, you know, all that.
I believe I posted this this afternoon at 2:15ish EST. When Darkcoin was trading at 470000ish... Now it's at 370000.
I think I got flamed for suggesting such a thing as hyper pumping a stock leads to big pull backs and crashes.
Anyways, to those who flamed... Just wanted to let you know no hard feelings. I don't want to add to your already likely existing pain from dismissing my advice and holding your "innovative" coins and losing over 22% in less than a few hours.
Keep your chin up everyone!
Strato
PS. This coin is still overpriced. My analysis on charts point to a 260000-320000ish pullback point within 48 hours. Just my two cents. Good work using bold and blue colors to pull attention to yourself. With that said, I have <1% confidence in anyone's chart reading abilities. Chart analysis is pretty meaningless. Why would a chart (the simple plotting of past trades) have any bearing on future trades? The only reason it would is if a bunch of people traded on your "analysis" and made it self-fulfilling. I don't look at past trade charts.

Yeah just 4 DRK, I only sold 40, so lost 10%, scrambled to buy it back again. Rest of my stash is on a couple of masternodes, so safely away from my crappy trading hands. Makes no sesne to me either, I can only assume most people who are trading are just trading from sight, rather than RC2 news etc.

Read the Darkcoin whitepaper f'ing brilliant!! -> http://www.darkcoin.io/downloads/DarkcoinWhitepaper.pdfIs there a full version? This seems to be a very short white paper. Perhaps this is a overview version? Not a whole lot of detail in terms of the concepts the coin claims to use. Just curious.

Guys, maybe we can get back to work with the marketing. Evan is doing his part we should do ours. This is a reply from TheCryptoDepot to my communication to them yesterday. I am setting a goal for myself of contacting at least 5 merchants a day. Is there official communication in English that could be sent to the Chinese exchanges I can get it translated really quick, my sisters boyfriend lived in China for several years and is willing to help. support@thecryptodepot.com Apr 25 (1 day ago) to me Hello, Thank you for your email regarding adding DarkCoin to our accepted coins list. We are not opposed to adding a digital currency that has good backing and a good community behind it. That being said, before adding we want to make sure our service would actually be used by those who hold DarkCoins. Thank you, - The Crypto Depot Support Team

Will the Draksend feature become open source?
Yes. That to me is a slight concern. Here is why. darkcoin is one of the few coins that has something beneficial and different. Clones are sure to appear. If Darkcoin is to have a market cap in the tens of billions or even hundreds of billions, as it becomes more widespread, then it needs to get the marketing right IMHO. Otherwise someone will come out with a clone called "goodcoin"...and I think that the wider community is far more likely to go with something like that than Darkcoin. I belive at some stage if the coin wants to fulfill it's potential the name will have to change. Just my 2 cents We all understand this, but frankly, no serious users will ever use a closed source system. But to relieve your fears a bit, integrating DarkSend into an existing coin will be very difficult. According to Evan, the developer, it will take someone with real skill and it will be very easy to break your existing coin. Second, most of us believe we have something special just because we have Evan Duffield as our developer. This MasterNode thing is going to enable us to do things not thought of yet.
I suggested something to Evan last night. Imagine this; The master nodes are decentralized. There will be a lot of them by the time this gets going, therefore they are another decentralized service. What if you put the blockchain on them to serve up? What if wallets don't have to hold 17 gigs of blockchain, but are all lightweight due to the MasterNodes serving up this information when needed? The lightweight wallets for bitcoin use a centralized solution, and if everyone used only lightweight wallets, the network would be easily destabilized. Not with MasterNodes. MasterNodes could enable everyone to use a light wallet! Now thinking along those lines... can you think of other things DarkCoin MasterNodes would be able to do for everyone? Just use your imagination...
If anyone has any doubts about DarkCoins future.... Think on the above.... Think about our fantastically gifted developer who can implement anything. If you still don't see it, I can't help you, you're limited, LOL

I was lucky enough to be sleeping when it ran up, so it was already over 40. Mind you this was rare occasion with a coin when I increased my position as the price went up. I don't belive it is a pump and dump coin, as it has something unique and beneficial. That said it will likely be volatile at times

Thank you. Is there a link that explains "master nodes". I like the coin and want to support it but I'm just not very tech savvy to be honest, though I'm trying to increase my knowledge. Where can I learn about the benefits of DRK?
