How to know for sure whether your masternode is actually working?
If you can see it here: http://drk.poolhash.org/masternode.html it's a pretty good sign. But even there, mine come and go a bit, or have done, seem steady at the moment.

And only one of the nodes is on http://drk.poolhash.org/masternode.htmlIn the local/remote masternode configuration, are you supposed to do "masternode genkey" on both wallets, remote and local? And then place the key gotten from remote wallet to remote wallet's .conf, and the key gotten from local wallet to local wallet's .conf? I tried to read minotaur's post about it but it's not clear how it's supposed to be.

Price means nothing at this stage without the main feature being implemented and vendors accepting DRK.
As soon as this happens, the price will rocket. Literally
+1 Yes, some of us remember that happening in the early days of Bitcoin. If I could go back in time I would have saved up all those cheap BTC, but I had no idea how much demand would drive up the price then. Now, I do. Bitcoin is going up in value, going mainstream, Wal Street, and leaving the Darknet, eventually. "Backdoor for Police" experimental Zerocoin isn't really a competitor, in my view, although technically fascinating... It is all DRK. and when will be the main feature implemented?

I tried to read minotaur's post about it but it's not clear how it's supposed to be. I think Eduffield is going to have to clarify, because, two of my nodes show on the list and two are not showing anymore after a couple of hours. I used separate keys. I am not sure if that is it, or if they expire after some time because the local wallet is offline. I am sure they start fine and I can see them for some time on the masternode.txt. Without clarification from Evan is hard to know. I will wait to see what happens and try a couple of nodes with the same key to see if they stick that way.

I DISAGREE. Vendors need not except drk for it to rocket. As the first truly DECENTRALISED PRIVACY coin, people will swap Btc into drk to mask their trail. People selling now are taking aim at own foot and squeezing the trigger.

Try shutting down your node, setting maxconnections a bit higher, then wait ten minutes and start it up again (there's good reason to wait 10 minutes). You need to think in the $billions in terms of rocketing to the moon, anything under $300m is just seed money. Get the infrastructure in first before moving to second base, IMO. Bitcoin is only now seeing serious merchants adopt it. It's been pretty much dice games, exchanges and mining up to now.

Actually it seemed to be working fine, will wait until more people switch to the latest version. And restart the nodes as instructed.

Everyone support this guy! He's flying solo and is worth GOLD right now for DRK. Because it is a decentralised trustless consensus that OSx users have higher IQ's to Windows users (if, of course, they're under free will) - but not all of that IQ is centralised in coding/compiling etc.

MASTERNODE WITH COLD WALLET DOES WORKI just confirmed that all of my nodes are showing on the http://darkcoin.io/masternodes.txtI didnt even restart them, it seems like as Evan said we just needed to be patient and wait for the network to sync. This also means that the local/remote wallet setup does work. In my case I do it with two privkeys, the one generated on the server I place on the server darkcoin.conf and the one generated locally I place on the local darkcoin.conf. The rest of the steps are the same as before and you can find information on darkcointalk.org. Cheers!
