http://sharedcoin.com/ is trustless centralized CoinJoin by Greg Maxwell.
Darksend in DarkCoin is dezentralized CoinCoin by Evan Duffield.

Haters/FUDers/trolls hate on DarkCoin saying it's insecure because bad actors like Goverments could run many Masternodes.

Leeds me to the question:

Is dezentralized trustless CoinJoin possible?

So some of us just have to accept lost coins...great...
I thought I lost coins way back when BTC forked... Nah. The coins accepted and lost on the fake chain came back when the fake chain went away... There's also this thing called a network memory pool...

This Emo Angst is all a result of not bothering to learn how it works. I've got a fuckload more money tied up in DRK than anyone else in this thread, I'll bet.

I'm not worried.

OK, I'm gonna hold out and see. I do get how it works, but it can be hard to keep up with so many changes. But anyway, fingers crossed, I believe in this long term and have some coin on the exchanges anyway.

Think of people actually enjoying their holiday weekend who don't even know this is happening, didn't see all the updates... They'll perform one update tomorrow and all will be well...

This is my berserker time. I don't get to do it much in this candy-ass weakling soft pussified society... I spend too much time holding back, acting like a clone of these pathetic sheep so they can't kill me with numbers. A slaughter like this is justice, revenge, and the water in which I swim... I understand it as if born to it, because I was. I revel in getting to be what I truly am... Smart people follow my lead even if they're not smart enough to understand it themselves.

Seriously dude, I'm not saying this to be mean, but out of concern.  Please seek the help of a mental health professional.

this masternode thing turned out to be crypto suicide

I doubt that, it's an excellent idea, and when Evan figures out what happened, he'll fix it and make it so it can't happen again.  He's good at that.  No reason to throw the baby out with the bath water.

I'm glad I anticipated this price drop days ago by putting all my Dark into X11. Then I bought more and made $$$ off of its rise. Hardforks are never good for coin value. You guys might as well drop Dark while you can, get into x11, and make $$$ to make up for Darkcoin losses.

After the dust settles, it will be important to learn whether the masternode architecture can be made robust enough to deal with intentionally malicious/misbehaving masternodes.   Peer-to-peer networks face a lot of design challenges because of the variety of creative attack vectors they can face; trustless networks all the more so.  The masternode concept is relatively untested along these lines.

Does the lion need mental help because it isn't a sheep?

I spend my life being civilized for the benefit of my masters and to my own detriment they gain.

Not today!

Mean? You're going to be "mean" to me? Lols. You can't be mean to me. People who use the phrase "mean" are too weak to take the truth. You can't be mean to me, and you cannot offend me. You've shared your opinion and I would have respected it more had you not prefaced it with an apology. No matter your supposed motivation, speak your mind! Be a man, dammit!

tl,dr:
IF YOUR VERSION DOESNT END WITH AN ".8" UPDATE IT!

.

I did just update it. Directly from the git.

The git does NOT end with an 8.

If it's a 11 it's even better  Cheesy

Only in the eyes of stupid people, and I like that they avoid me.

Stupid implies lack of intelligence and willingness to understand. I understand your anger sometimes, but you insult smart and willing people as well, because your anger and arrogance fogs your mind. People willing to participate in cryptos (e.g. for libertarian motives, not greed) but lacking IT skills are not necessarily stupid. I agree there are a lot of morons posting here (I as an IT noob but investment pro tend to recognize them more when they post about speculation matters), but to me you seem to be running amok with your rage.
By the way...not everybody has the time you seem to have to spend on a "stupid" forum.

 Cry

To be honest I didn't expect that DRK crashed that hard. It is the only chance to buy more DRK and now all my BTC is gone. I'm envy with you guys.

It's not anger or rage. It's the nature of what I am; a predator in a cage. I got out for a little while.

The sheep don't know how to interpret it. It's horrible to them. Ever watch the discovery channel? Wonder what the gazelle thinks of the lion? Watching his buddy get eaten and what good was he? He ran away, too... He didn't help... The herd never really has any safety from it's own cowardice. Is the lion angry? No, it calmly eats it's meal... It's not rage. It's just the nature of the thing.

I prey on the weak and stupid. Be glad that today it was not you.
